Yeah dude, you just get old and then die, so why ever do anything?
In fact, just kill yourself now.
Wow, what a valid comparison.
Although I won't be killing myself, I have canceled the account and am now finding myself with all kinds of free time which is nice. Oh, and go fuck yourself.
So, we got tired of the raiding situation in White Rose on Burning Legion. So we dropped by Moonglade just to check the situation there.
Not ten minutes later we were talking about putting the old guild together again. If we recruit a holy priest and maybe another healer, we'll have a nice little Karazhan group going!
I have a 70 mage there, but right now I really want to level my 63 pally up and either tank or healbot.
Yep, things are suddenly looking good again. Logging on was really a "Honey, I'm home!" moment.

Happy: Getting 25 Fel Armaments for 200g and finally getting exalted with Aldor. Also gots me a sexy Vindacators Brand.
Hate: Reading about how Death Knights should be nerfed in /2.
Jesus Christ. I was just in a group for ramparts, and a tank joined up with us, and we started the run not more than 5 minutes after. Perhaps 10 minutes into the instance, the guy is like, "sorry, I'm out of time, I've got 18 minutes left, I'm at a place where I have to pay money."
After 3 days of not finding a single group needing a tank for heroics (like wtf, all people need are tanks) I got my last 6 badges today and bought Faceguard of Determination. Karazhan can now go quietly screw itself. Now because of this Price will drop my fucking helm next week.
Hate: Drops in SSC
Only thing I'd need so far is the necklace from tidewalker, but only because I have never gotten rytsynn's lost pendant. Even the sword dropped by whoever is not really better than the one the prince drops.
Ten hours? I don't see how it could take that long, unless you're installing WoW, letting that update, then installing BC, which is the wrong way to go about things. Installing BC updates WoW automatically.
Or you just have a shitty connection.
Hate: Having my server revert to it's Honour Update bullshit for the last week, where at 8 PM every night when the honour updates, the server lags/crashes/goes offline. It makes doing anything impossible for at least half an hour, during fucking prime time.

Yeah, Kara gear really is amazing, which is why I'm so frustrated that we won't run it anymore.
Yeah that pretty much does suck. We've been bitching about this a lot lately. It seems like the majority of drops in SSC are plate DPS gear. Grats to our ONE DPS WARRIOR and prot warriors and paladins for PVP toys. It's a good fucking thing tailoring is as good as it is.
It makes me really sad that Fang of the Leviathan is so bad, honestly. And by bad I mean I wouldn't bother replacing my Nathrezim with it. Especially because I'll be getting the season 2 arena spellblade tomorrow, which kicks the shit out of both.

The funny thing is the Fang of the Leviathan is one of the few drops I'm looking forward to in there.

And hearing other classes say that the Kara drops are that great, make me wonder. I know our guild has a sizeable number of "core" raiders that are sick and tired of Kara, but if it were the case that quite a few of them have several possible upgrades there(and our new raiders certainly do) then I'd argue that we should be running it for the good of the guild, which has been a strongly pushed concept for us recently.
But I'm not about to go and look at everyone's armory to find upgrades.

Season 2 mace...trade that +crit for +spell hit.
Hmm, I never even looked at the arena gear since, well, I kinda hate the arena (especially as prot).
Ah well. How long would it take to get the 3150 arena pts?

Awhile. I'm on a 2v2 team with a 1660 rating and I get ~400 points a week. But at the same time, I won't be creating loot drama. And AS seems to suprise the shit out of people in arena.
Hate: We have this 15 year old drama queen (female, of course) who starts spamming up guild chat with her inane drama. But since she flirts with all the boys in the guild, they all think her shit smells like cookies. Well, this weekend, she finally gets on the GM's last nerve, who tells her to cut it out. The drama queen /gquits and then begs to be brought back in at the same guild level she was in previously. GM brings back her in at newbie level as punishment and tells the officers she is not to be brought back up yet.
A day later, she's back to her old rank because she flirts with one of the officers and convinces him to restore her level. GM comes back on and /gkicks the drama queen out and demotes the officer. At which point one of the officers /gquits and is followed by another two of our regulars, all of which end up joining the drama queen's new guild.
The rub of it all? I had just gotten a Pattern: Devilsaur Leggings drop and sent it to the ex-officer for guild use only to have him bail on us.
Hate: the Geomancer Genocide is now up to 12 hours without seeing my pattern. In fact, I only saw I single Geomancer during the 30 minutes I was there last night (yes, I'm killing all the Skirmishers).
Great: got in an *excellent* rep grinding PuG for Shattered Halls last night. Ended up running it three times, got 2 blue drops and 3/4ths of the way to Revered with Honored Hold. Also got to sniff one the tailoring drop from there, but the Warlock won the roll handily. The warrior knew her business, the hunter was one of those rare good hunters... and the priest we did the 2nd & 3rd runs with had absolutely frightening mana regen.
Happy: Getting Crystalforge Shoulders tonight. I put in as one of the people for them and they gave it to me. I almost shit a brick because I've been in the guild for just over a month and got it over 4 Holy Paladins, 2 Shamans and 2 Rogues.
Happy: Discovering that after porcupine farming Demon Hunter Supplicants in Shadowmoon for approximately an hour, I can come out of it with 40g in silver (after selling the greys and greens), 37 signets, 2 arcane tomes, and six stacks of Netherweave. The Netherweave alone is roughly another 20g on my server, and the rep gets me that much closer to Scryer Exalted.

Happy: Getting an even score on my 2v2 Arena team (me, a tree druid, and a MS gnome). We're both horribly undergeared for any serious playing, but we managed 1505 or so as our rating from a few hours of playing yesterday.
Played my 50 horde shaman some last night, as a few of us from the guild who are buddies/wives/etc in real life have decided to take a break from the alliance guild (still doing Kara/Gruul some) and it may become a regular thing, as once my kid gets back into school and I start some college classes, I won't be making all that many raids and would hate to tie up a slot when someone else could be gearing up.
Hate: Unforgiving boss fights. Gorefiend. If anyone's familiar with the fight, basically you'd expect people to F up once their first time with the ghost debuff from either choking or having some UI issue. Basically it can happen to anyone but the tank, but if they F up, it's a wipe. There's 25 people in a raid. Some people screwed up more than once, while I screwed up royally once.
It was a lot of wipes.

Right. So. Last night sucked.
I go to Gruul's lair every week. Normally there is a post, and everyone is asked to confirm if you can come, if you're static. This is a pretty reasonable thing to ask, I think, to let the raid leader know ahead of time whether or not you can come.
Well, people hate forums, and no one who is static ever confirms, for a variety of reasons, so the sign ups get taken down.
Raid night rolls around, and only about half the people who are static show up, with many questioning whether there is even a run tonight. *FACEPALM*
Through much begging and scrounging we manage to get 25. We pull Maulgar, he dies, all is well. Then just, ugh.
Two people disconnect, and the authentication server is down. So we attempt to 23 Man gruul. We get him to 4% down two people, but the tank goes down and we wipe.
So then, a good friend of mine, who is doing me a huge favor even having showed up, gets one of his friends, so we go in with 24. But trouble abounds.
My friend is mad I didn't take anyone over him, when he clearly didn't want to be there. (Someone was offered in his stead, but I didn't know that person, and the person who was offering the replacement couldn't have done more than a /who 70 class, since he didn't come across as knowing what he was talking about).
The guy who is the butt of a lot of good natured rubbing for being a nub drops group since he's pissed. He's notorious since he'll come back in eventually, but has on occasion accidentally hearthed himself, trying to kid around.
One of the rogues wants Windfury, throws a ton of data at me about his DPS, and I switch him and the rogue who lost the "don't be in the Windfury group" roll, since I'm already depressed my friend hates me and won't speak to me.
Rogue who got switched out bitches to a healer, as do a few others, healer tells me many people are bitching, now I'm just depressed as hell.
We kill Gruul on the third try, which isn't bad, but isn't our usual one shot. Everyone seems unhappy, especially at loot (mail gloves/boots, both are shard bait).
Sometimes sorry isn't good enough. Can anyone cheer me up?
Happy: Enjoying myself last night fighting another Druid, who thought I would let them finish casting Hibernate on me. She tried and failed 6 or 7 times out of 3 encounters.
Posts
And on average four seconds of lag.
I go to take back a bunker. Warlock standing under the flag. I move in, try an opener.
Out of range. Try again 5-6 times. Then I ignore him and just try to go take the flag back.
Then he teleports up right next to me where he was apparently standing all the time and dots me up.
Wow, what a valid comparison.
Although I won't be killing myself, I have canceled the account and am now finding myself with all kinds of free time which is nice. Oh, and go fuck yourself.
that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat
Don't worry about it, Wavechaser has done the same thing on more then one occasion.

ZOMG NERF UNHOLY EMBRACE
Happier: My guild and our collab guild putting together 25 people and raping Gruul's Lair (got Maul on the 5th try and Gruul on the 6th).
Happiest: Getting [Cowl of Nature's Breath] from Gruul which then pushes me above 1.3k healing.
Hate: Sitting in SFO airport delayed for two hours. FUCK YOU FOG!
Believe me
Realizing that two protection Paladins and a feral druid turn Tidewalker into a joke of epic scale.

Well, there's quite a lot of kara gear for me, that is better than anything I could get from Gruul or Magtheridon, or even early SSC.

And 1 vs 5 in slivermoon they made blood elves and harassed me for awhile
/golfclap yes 5 people vs me is not a fair fight nor fun so try again
The funny thing is the Fang of the Leviathan is one of the few drops I'm looking forward to in there.
