Make the level 40 or 41 lovers persona that has diarahama so you can heal your party for 160 or so each turn. Try to keep the attack down debuff on the table and make sure you equip yourself to the immune to fear item, as I believe his wail attack will instantly kill anyone feared or whatever status ailment it is that he hits you with. The lv 30 something serpent has the item, weak against slash, immune to wind and ice one, I forget the name. Also, try to cure fear whenever you can.
EDITx2:
The second persona is a level 28 moon persona I think, orochio- something or other. If that helps.
I still want to know how the hell that works. Can she leave the Velvet Room in Fes? I can't there's much room for romance with Igor sitting in his chair the whole time.
Also, if you get involved with Beth I wonder if the game over sequence changes at all to show her crying over the fact that you're dead

She'll probably just get with Junpei instead. :P
And speaking of which... 8/21.
That explains where the last member of Strega went. You go, Junpei.

Good strat.
The table tried casting fear and some other debuff first three turns, so that gave my team a little time to start carving away at the health. Then he opened up with attacks and I had to heal my team almost every turn from then on, only stopping to cast the attack down spell on him every few turns. Yukari ended up getting KO'd, and after one 50% HP revive just made her get KO'd the next turn, I let her take a nap while Junpei and Ken polished off the last slivers of health. Then Yukari came back, because after boss fights they get resurrected!

So, about Death
Does he show up if you've been running around in Tartarus for a long single session? Because I was going through for a long time trying to get a gold shadow and all of a sudden, Mitsuru was like, "Beware I sense a strong presence, it must be Death." And I then I heard chains rattle and I was like what the fuck so I ran like a woman to some stairs
And Akihiko's
Persona is really silly looking

Death
He shows up when you've been on one floor too long; about ten to thirteen minutes on a normal floor and only three or four on a "special" floor (one with more enemies, no enemies, only gold enemies, etc)
Akihiko
Yeah, it really does. At least he can console himself with the fact that it's not Ken's persona.
Also he's a giant badass, so I imagine that lessens the pain as well.

don't their Personas like... evolve at least since you can't fuse new ones or anything for them?

Yeah, and Ken's evolved persona is the most retarded thing ever. I kinda like Akihiko's, though.

I'm not liking Koromaru's so far.
Just Agilao and Mamudo?
Ech.
Good physical attack, though.
(Is it wrong I was hoping for subtitles on his 'let's group attack!' "Woof woof!"?)
I believe now is an opportune moment to combine our efforts!
Oh, use him all you want, I'm not maligning that. Hell, I use Junpei, and he's hardly the most useful of the bunch. I'm just saying, compared to others, they're not very good in my experience.

Aigis is never leaving my group if I can help it. She's a killing machine.
Haven't gotten Ken yet, but
I don't suspect him and Shinji are going to be getting along very well.
And Junpei comes along if I'm fighting a certain element.

Eh, I find that Mitsuri and Aigis end up spending a lot of the time casting support spells when I just want them to hit the fucking enemy. Ken's probably my least favorite fighter overall, though -- he just doesn't know when to stop with the goddamn physical spells.

My Aigis keeps draining her HP with her attack magic.
Akihiko's bad about this, too.
And putting Mitsuru on Support is a solid waste of SP. She'll use Diarama if I'm down 20 HP.
On a lighter note, my Sati & Lamia Personae are .
Especially Sati. She got a great deal out of the fusion process. Lamia knows Mamudo, Magaru, and Mabufu.
Though I'd like to know why the Hindu Personae don't get a fusion spell...

That's how all people with healing spells are with the support tactic.
I tend to keep Mitsuru on All Out or whatever the strategy is where they just attack and don't worry about support skills, except for boss fights so she'll use her Focus ability to double her damage. Gave her a Varna Bracer (Large increase to Ice Damage) which, coupled with her naturally learned Ice Boost/Amp skill makes her a beast.
Guys about choosing party members, is it better to keep everyone at decent levels for the enemies you are fighting or to focus on who ever you like? Don't want to get into situations where I can't use certain characters because of the story and I'm stuck with low level party members.
Minor spoilers, regarding character availability for full moons
Junpei isn't available for the September Full Moon, but that fight is such a joke that it doesn't really matter, and Ken and Shinjiro aren't available for the October Full Moon
EDIT: I lied, here's a third question. Which Personae are most recommended for the third block?
Lamia. Strong to three or four elements, and nullifies one, I think? Only weak to slash damage. Mine ended up with agilao, magaru, mazio, mamudo, marin kirin, and a couple auto-buffs. It's my go-to persona right now. My second place...is probably still a Valkyrie that learned maragi. I'm just not a big fan of most of the mid 20s options. Elephants and horses, bleh. Oberon's pretty good, if only because he's about the earliest option to spread around media, and his lightning resistance is potentially quite useful.
Alice - Level 56 - Death - Lilim + Pixie + Nata Taishi + Narcissus
Learns the 35 SP spell Die For Me!, which is like a suped up mamudon (listed as "very high" chance of death instead of just "high") and Mudo Boost which boosts the chance for Dark Spells to hit. Die For Me! is hitting about 85-90 percent of the time. It's beautiful.

Me too. I shot myself in the head this morning and the asshole who cut me off WASN'T enveloped in cleansing holy flame. I was quite miffed.
Oh, I wasn't at home.
