Holy shit, Persona fusion gets pretty insane later in the game. I've spent nearly 2 hours just mixing and matching personas to try and get good combinations of abilities and resistances.
So I've resorted to listening to music on my laptop while grinding in Tartarus. Why couldn't this be FES where you can choose different songs to listen to while in there?
Also, Mage's Mark is the best accessory ever. Regens SP every turn, bought it from the home shopping network.
Sorcerer's Mark is better.
And Wizard's Mark better still, especially when stacked with Invigoration 2 from a Persona...
Semi-spoilers for 9/21
Alice - Level 56 - Death - Lilim + Pixie + Nata Taishi + Narcissus
Learns the 35 SP spell Die For Me!, which is like a suped up mamudon (listed as "very high" chance of death instead of just "high") and Mudo Boost which boosts the chance for Dark Spells to hit. Die For Me! is hitting about 85-90 percent of the time. It's beautiful.
I've gotten a ton of use out of Daisoujou myself...
I think he parallels Alice in just about every way. Fused him out of Mithra + Ara Mitama + Kusi Mitama + Saki Mitama + Nigi Matama to complete Elizabeth's request #43. (The next fusion request actually is to create an Alice with Megido... extremely time consuming to do, actually)
His only weakness is darkness attacks, but he learns Null Dark. He also comes with Growth 3. At L59 he'll have learned Samsara (which is equivalent to Die For Me, except light instead of dark) and Hama Boost. He even has Diarahan! One of my favorite Persona.

It's really easy, actually. Just fuse a Decarabia with a Principality to get a Nata Taishi with Megido, and fuse an Alice with it.
Ah, neat... the method suggested in the DoubleJump guide is way more roundabout than that. They suggest transferring Megido from Nebiros to Titania, then deleveling Titania by fusing it to other Lovers until you get a Pixie with Megido.
I just hit 7/1 now, and I'm 4/4/4, and for S. Links I have a 6, a 5, and 3 4's, and then some random ones. Am I about on track?

You'll have finals in about 2 weeks from where you are. To ace finals you need to have 5 in Academics. There are some other things coming up where you might want to buff up charisma, but I don't want to give anything away.

Mind you, a few places like Wal-mart won't carry it due to the M rating (and I bet the whole "gun to the head" thing might scare off some more informed-but-conservative managers) so a specialty shop is your best bet.
Anyway, oh god getting the last part of a Social Link takes so long. Dammit Chihiro, I like you but cut me loose woman, there's another girl over there with a heart choker on who I want to get to know real well, not to mention the short girl with bad cooking but nice manners.
Also jumping on the "Yuko can dive off a bridge" bandwagon. She's annoyingly shallow and her character honestly, truly annoys me. She's not the kind of person I'd spend time with in real life.

Yukari and summer piss me off sooooooooo much. If you max out your Charm beforehand, you can finally speak with her on the day you unlock her, but then summer vacation starts and despite the fact that you two LIVE IN THE SAME GOD DAMNED BUILDING you can't ask her out. And she never called me during the whole of the break, either. Summer is basically one gigantic tease and I wish it was implemented better.
I'm playing through the beach vacation at the moment, and I can honestly say that it is the best thing I've ever encountered in any game to date. I'm not even halfway through the game yet, and Persona 3 is quickly becoming one of, if not, my favorite game of all time.
I'm finding that Summer Vacation gives you time to raise all those Social Links that you just can't get to during the school year. Like the MMORPG, Bookstore Couple, Shrine Girl, and Home Shopping network dude, as well as a few others.
On that note, the moment I saw Tanaka on TV I knew he was pure evil. Then doing his Social Link line just confirms that assumption.
Ok Satan and Lucifer are different entities in the SMT games. But who is Messiah?
Strongest Persona in the game, Judgment Class, (with Lucifer being a close second, IMO) made by mixing Orpheus with Thanatos but he's a level ninety persona so good luck with that.

Tanaka's S. Link
Requires you to be at Rank 4 on the Hermit S.Link and then she tells you to go to Port Station in front of the Movie Theatre standing by one of the pillars. Tanaka is there, but you need to have Rank 4 Charm for him to really talk to you. He asks for 20,000yen, then you come back the next day, he asks for 10,000, then you come back another day and he asks for a final 10,000yen and at that point he becomes the Devil S.Link.
He's not there everyday though, I know he's there on Saturdays and Sundays, but not sure what days during the week since some days I go and he's not there.
So who are all the S.links? I know i'm missing fatty since I can't seem to find him and I'm curious who else I am missing.
Second question: What are these peacock tiles Elizabeth wants? I've never even seen a place ingame where they might be :x She is really starting to annoy me with these fetch quests.
She wants a Mahjong Tile. You can find a gambling hall at Port Island Station's back alley. Honestly I think that's the hardest clue in the game, all things considered.

So I maxed out my charm just before the Yakushima trip and started laying it on Yukari. The whole sequence where she runs off on her own and you go after her is just a part of the game and I assume had nothing to do with my Charm stats, correct? I figure it's the way that you answer and how she responds that is determined by your S. Link.
I'm starting to regret going so far with Yuko (6) because I'm making more use of the Justice Arcana which I get from Chihiro (2).

And yeah, that's another complaint I have with Yuko: those Strength Personae are useless. If I need a physical attacker I can use Chariot, and the Angels you get from Justice (not Judgement, Judgement comes later) get really crazy powerful once you get a ton of link levels on Chihiro.

That didn't really work at all. It ended up making a Lamia with dodge strike instead of dodge slash.
