I'm looking forward to Metamorpho Year One. Rex is a cool character that has been misused / underused by bad writing for a long time. Hopefully Jurgens and Bedard can turn that around. Plus I like the biweekly format of the Y1 books.
I mean, 52 was almost completely self contained outside of the WWIII One-Shots and it maintained a great weekly story.
Countdown has been using a ton of other books and you pretty much have to read them to really get what's going on. Add on to that the ton of tie-ins and you have the wrong way to do a Weekly series.
I don't know if I'm comfortable with Alex Ross co-writing, exactly.
He knows a lot of little details about the DCU and his use of those minor characters in KC was probably impetus for the last years events being so intricate.

Or it could have been, oh I don't know, Crisis on Infinite Earths? Which had pretty much every DC character created as of that time in it.
If they were going to bring in somebody from Kingdom Come, I'd have preferred Mark Waid, who not only has basically encyclopedic knowledge of the DCU, but has recently worked with Johns.
That said, JSA has been pretty amazing so far, so I'm still looking forward to the arc.
I'm a little irked that Ross isn't drawing this arc, as I thought he was after the issue #1 teaser. But hey, we've still got Eaglesham, and that ain't bad.

I'm not, because I'd really like it to come out on time.

Well yeah, obviously thats a factor. Though I figured that was something he's been working on since issue #1.

I think maybe if he wasn't busy with Justice, he'd have some input, but I'm thinking he'll have a few cameo pages like he did with the issue with the Starman reveal.
I still want to know who the fuck wanted a Lord Havok and the Extremists mini-series. Besides that, all I'm really interested in is the stuff I'm buying now; Sinestro Corps-related stuff and JSA. Metamorpho: YO I'll probably pick up in a trade if reviews are good, since I love my boy Rex, but honestly Jurgens never really wowed me even when he was in his prime on Booster Gold and JLA, so I'm not in a hurry to rush out and buy it. Pretty cover though.

Like she's stoned out of her mind.
Edit: Has anyone else noticed that Superboy Prime has massive monkey paws? Seriously those look like Gorilla Grodd's hands or something.

Eye glasses look good on Henshaw.

While I'm certainly interested in this KC crossover happening in JSA, it really seems a little too weird.

I mean,
Countdown to Adventure
Countdown to Mystery
Gotham Underground
The Earth-3 Special
The Earth-8 Special
The Search for Ray Palmer.
Not to mention the tie-in issues of normal ongoings.

It basically seems like War Games, though written by Frank Tieri and doesn't have 20+ issues.
Plus, since Black Mask kicked, Gotham hasn't had a great underworld kingpin.
I mean c'mon, Great White Shark? Bush league.

Yeah, but Countdown to Adventure has Animal Man.
Animal Man.
And they're making multi-earth specials.
These are good things. Hopefully.
But Beechen is writing, and so far he's been terrible on everything but Robin.

True. And I'm still waiting for them to just announce a Multiverse Adventures ongoing. That's all I want.

If the next Crisis is anything like Infinite Crisis, yeah you do.

It looks to be right up your alley.
Also, JG Jones is going to be doing November's Countdown covers? Excellent.
Yeah but I was wondering why Superboy Prime was standing right next to him.
He's probably like the bosses son in movies, except he isn't a weakling.
