I was looking at the Torque engine, and came across this game that was for download. Now I run linux so I can't really give it a go, but it looks like a PA game.
I was wondering, is this a fan-based thing? I can undersand it's free, but where does this sit in realation to the offical game made by hothead? Does Gabe or Khoo know this exists?
It was made by a G&T forumer. Forgot his name though.
He had the Buddy Christ as an avatar.
We played the hell out of it when he released it.

It's been so long since I've posted here, I've removed my signature since most of what I had here were broken links. Shows over, you can carry on to the next post.
this is real old. i still have the build when it was still called "Fruit Fucker". it was very early and pretty broken, all you could really do was move around.

Really?
I remember playing a few games with everyone else here.

Played it for ahiwle just to test it out. Seemed like it'd be decent entertainment for a few nights with fellow forumers but there's not much more to it than that.
I saw this awhile back. While the game doesn't look all that fancy, I'm sure a group could have loads of fun with it. Maybe a game on over the weekend?
I'm such a whore for torque games.

Yeah. You could run around, fly a bit and shoot oranges at people.
And there was a little buggy if I remember correctly.
It was alright.

Can we get the chemicals in. 'Cause anything's better than this.
Fruit fucking isn't as much fun as it sounds. I once found myself losing my appetite halfway through a large banana that I had inserted into my ex-wife. No amount of smalltalk can cover the embarrassment in that situation.

Well, that's pretty awful.
In any case, yeah, it wasn't too bad for a "beta" build (which is what I think he was showing off at the time). I remember there being two or three maps - one was a kitchen I think, and the other was the deserted island he got stranded on. I also seem to remember Gabe's bedroom being a map, but maybe not. It was a nice diversion, but at the time at least, there definitely wasn't enough there for a fully fleshed out mutlplayer game. I don't know if he ever got past that beta stage or not though.

I remember our totem-pole to the heavens.
I'm not sure what he actually did, as I believe there was a team of people behind it, but I know he was the guy who was showing it off.
