Dragging up an old subject here, but about Mr. Resetti's viability as a fighter... He DOES have legs. There is a special version of the gamecube game in japan - Doubutsu no Mori E+ - in which you can break into Mr. Resetti's home, the Reset Monitoring Center. It's a humble place underground, complete with reset siren. It's been a few years since I've seen screenshots, but I do remember seeing Mr. Resetti lounging on a couch watching TV. I'll look at my screenshot archive when I get home from work and post something here if I can find proof.

While I have zero confidence in their return in Brawl, I'm going to be sad to see the Ice Climbers go. I've been using them a lot the past few weeks, and they are a lot of fun. Though they seem to be a lot like Jigglypuff, in that while the battle is fun for me, my opponents don't seem to enjoy themselves as much. I don't see how they could be any more annoying than Falco or Peach, though.
My vote is for some sort of item for tomorrow. Don't really know what, though. If it's not anything new, maybe generic explosives like bob-ombs or mines.

I dunno, I consider it a fluke that they were even in SSBM. I would like to see them return (though the assumed removal of wavedashing will horribly gimp them), I just don't really expect it.

I hope Mr. Game and Watch isn't gone. Since it looks now like Wario isn't really a replacement for him, I hope they still keep him in. He was always my favorite character to play as, just because of his crazy and random attacks.

All I know is, I'm giddy about the uproar the anally competitive "Leet Smash Community" is kicking up over Zero Suit Samus, Fox's increased drop speed (NO WAVEDASHING AH BLOO BLOO), and the lack of a straightforward stage like Final Destination. At least so far.
Looks like this clearly spells out what the game's supposed to be, eh? DEFINITELY not a serious business competitive fighter. It's a party fighter. Get over it, Tourney Kiddies.

I'd rather see Jigglypuff go than the Ice Climbers. To me, SSB(M)(B) is the purest form of a Nintendo homage you'll get, and there's already Pikachu out there to be the flag holder of the Pokémon franchise. But who's representing the Ice Climbers?
