Moral Orel is a stop-motion animated television show currently airing on Adult Swim. The show is rated TV-MA because it contains violence, sexual practices that may be considered deviant, and a satirical take on religious matters that might be offensive to some.[citation needed]
It has been described as "Davey and Goliath...meets South Park".[1] Despite advertising for the show, which portrays it as being in the vein of the Davey and Goliath cartoons that it is stylistically similar to, Dino Stamatopoulos, the creator, has stated that it is less a direct parody of that, and more a parody of 1950s and '60s style sitcoms.[2]
At the Adult Swim Upfront 2007, it has been confirmed that Moral Orel will run for a third season.
Any other fans of this show around? If so I was wondering whateveryone thoguht of the somewhat depressing season finale. It wasnt nearly as "light hearted" when compared to other episodes, but entertaining none the less. Just seein what people thin kof the show.
i just watched an episode on youtube... i could only find one, it was pretty good had some funny parts forsure, is there anywhere where i can stream other episodes?

The Season finale is probably the darkest thing I've ever seen on Television. It was great.

"I hate you."
"Hate on!"
My respect for Moral Orel shot up a decent bit after that episode. Don't care for it otherwise, though.
Second season made me love not just the show, but the creators and writers.
Really excellent job at making a medium such as claymation, something worthy of true drama, even in a comedic form. I'm glad that this won't be the last season.
I'd say best show ever, but we all know that's the Venture Bros.!
The season finale was fucking glorious. I was surprised that I was actually ANTICIPATING the second half. I have not anticipated an episode of an Adult Swim show since the last episode of Metalocalypse.
As for Moral Orel, my favorite episode was when the Pastor finds out he has a daughter. The ending was...well, I hate to admit it, but I shed a tear the first time I saw it.
"Hello, Father."
"That sounds so...catholic."
"What should I call you then?"
"How about...*smiles*Dad?"

Perhaps the #1 thing that got me into this show was creator Dino Stamatopoulos' drunk belligerent rant on stage at last years comic-con
I've acted along side of the guy who voices the priest.
Nice guy.
We are ditching Aquateen Hunger force, and hopefully 12oz Mouse and picking up Moral Orel, Sea Lab, and a few others i think.

and there it is, I guess they won't be having another one of these panels next week, which is a shame that was my favorite part of comiccon 06
Later on they made Dino apologize to the crowd for sneaking vodka in, he's my hero
