I'm looking for recommendations on good J-pop. I did a search in this forum, but didn't find anything. Thanks in advance.

Jpop itself is a pretty huge genre already.

How about giving us some examples of music that you like? Doesn't have to be Jpop. You might find something that's really interesting to you then.

I'm a fan of Mika Nakashima. She's pretty diverse, as far as pop goes.

If you describe jpop, I think it goes without saying you have to drop the name Ayumi Hamasaki.

Locus

If you're into folk/folk rock at all I highly recommend Rie fu. She's one of the few jpop artists that can actually speak English and use it properly in her music.

Are Crystal Kay and Koda Kumi considered J-pop?
I'm more into Jrap with Rhymester, Kick the Can Crew, Soul'd Out, M-flo types.

Check out Koda though shes done some popular songs.
