Puzzle Quest got a big following here, so this might be of interest.
It's out already for the DS and PSP, and we already knew about the 360 Live version. Well, IGN is saying that Puzzle Quest is being actively ported to the Wii, PS2, PC and mobile phones this fall. Now everyone can try the RPG puzzler! ....well, maybe not those on a PS3, which was omitted from the list.
With every platform under the sun except for the PS3 getting the game, I say D3 should just shoot the moon and go for a PSN download. That way everyone can experience the unmitigated joy and love of this game, barring the sheer frustration of the cocksuckingly lucky computer AI at times.
I love the game, and it loves me back ... but it hits me sometimes. I was asking for it, though.
What class were you playing when it happened, btw?

No date for the PC release yet? They really got screwed by their publisher and the exclusivity stuff. This is an ideal PC game and I still can't buy a copy.

I think the luck of tha AI may be overstated. I suspect, that instead, the game rewards risk taking/things falling from the sky.
In other news, Deathbringer = lock my PSP every 10 times or so.
Yeah, I liked this game, but it was insanely unbalanced.
Case in point. Deathbringer creates random skulls all over the board, to the point where you use it immediately and always win with a high enough red stat.
Deathbringer is easy to block, though, since it uses all four mana types. Boost up resistance to any one, and your opponent won't be able to get it off.
Also, while I'm puzzled it's not for PSN as well, PS3 owners can always buy the PS2 version. It's not like the graphics'll be downgraded or anything.
I get allot of freezing and crashing on DS too. If it is at a budget price, and has a bunch of new stuff I may buy it for Wii too. I am just about to complete the main quest on the DS version, I am ready to
kill Bane
but am tieing up all loose ends/other quests first.
Awesome game, but playing it and puzzle league at the same time is messing with my head.
A fantastic game that all should give a go, but also to my mind the very epitome of a handheld game.
Personally I loves it in my DS but really can't see any appeal in sitting down in front of the TV to play it.
See, as prevalent as the PSP and DS are to us, this isn't so for most of the people who love bejeweled. My friend can't stop playing the regular version of the game but she has absolutely no interest in a DS or PSP. So with the PC and bigger console releases they're really catering to this demographic.
To be honest, I'm mostly waiting for the 360 version because of price. I don't want it enough to pay $30, but if it comes out for $10-$15 on XBLA, it'll be a must have. Plus I really like the convenience of being able to just turn on the system and start playing a few seconds later without having to look around for cartridges or CDs.

Never happened to me once.

Har!
Well, PS3 owners might be in a tight spot if the PS2 version isn't part of the soon-to-be-universal software-based BC.
