I just put a deposit down on a 750 sq foot one bedroom fifteen floors up.
$649 a month gets me Heat, Water, precious precious electricity, pool, and a spectacular view that would cause panties to spontaneously combust, if I could ever somehow trick a woman into coming home with me.
I live with my fiancée in Atlanta when I'm not co-oping. Around $900/mo for 800 sq. ft. and utilities. Not bad.
When I am co-oping, I'm provided housing and furnishing. So, basically I'm sharing a two bedroom house with another guy for around $100/mo for utilities.
Dudes, is it possible to live on your own or with roommates on $8 an hour if you're working at least 25 hours a week in Phoenix, Arizona?
Living at home is depressing the shit out of me.
It really depends on where in Phoenix you'll be going.
Glendale? I had a one bedroom apartment for 500 bucks a month. The only thing that sucked about that one was the Glendale Community College right across the street.
Avondale? I had a two bedroom apartment for 800 bucks a month. Not shabby, about 1100 sq feet.
Chandler? I'm in a one bedroom apartment, around 900 sq feet or so, 860 a month. And this was one of the CHEAPER ones.
I can't wait for my house! Screw apartments! Never again!
I have a 550 sq ft studio in downtown Chicago. I pay for electricity, but water and gas are included.
Has a gym with brand new equipment, a doorman, a pool.
$1250/mo.
What part of Chicago?
Gold Coast.
Are you in Chicago?
NW burbs, but ~45 minutes from downtown.
I would have loved to live in the city, but seeing as my job is also in the 'burbs, it just kind of makes sense to live 15 minutes away from work rather than an hour and a half in rush hour traffic. Even the metra is an hour commute.
I live in a small studio. It's old, but in ok condition. I like to call it quirky. I have a latch eye hole and a fold down ironing board that comes down across the entrance to my kitchen so I can be a good little wife.
I pay 415 + utilities...
It's not the most amazing place but it's in a great spot....few blocks from down town, one from the library, the municipal park is RIGHT across the street and I can walk to the OSU campus really easy should there be something going on there.

It has a billion windows (maybe a slight exaggeration) and a view of the mountains
Starting in September I will be living in Spain in a homestay for study abroad

It's a decent place, and probably the best deal in the city. Also, only grad students live here, so it's clean and quiet.
right now though I live in a college dorm
Too bad I'm moving in Nov into a likely crappy place since I'll be poor for school.

It's pretty cool.
What part of Chicago?
it's pretty great, i love the town i live in
green everywhere and awesome bike paths
Steam
but it has an unreal view and is right in the heart of a sweet little suburb with hundreds of restaurants and shops, and close to train and bus lines
i was going to move out but my friends are dicks and decided to fuck me over
Nothing like a lightening strike every 15 seconds. I'm surprised I haven't lost power yet.
750/month with en-suite laundry, dishwasher, hot tub+steam room+decent gym downstairs. About 700 sq feet (1bedroom + den)
I'm pretty happy.
Are you in Chicago?
i'm going to move out in a year or two for sure
RMB3000 a month (US$400) including utilities.
Literally walking distance to the subway and 10-20 minute cab rides to all the hot spots.
2 floor, 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms(One of which has been converted into a workout room that nobody uses.) and a pool.
$1300 a month

I love thunderstorms.
I don't think I'll officially move out of my parents' house until after I graduate and that depends on grad school
I don't mind though, they're good people
Don't be hatin' because our money is rainbow-colored.
