Help me find a(some) good game(s) for a PC

I recently purchased a pretty sweet gaming PC, and had a question (as I have been out of the PC gaming loop for a while due to lack of funds):

Are there any good 3rd person Robot/Mecha/Powersuit/etc games for the PC? Online/multiplay is not required, I just want to blow shit up as a big robot.

(Also- Don't suggest the Target exclusive Transformers game as I already have that)

Pretty much I'm looking for something like Armored Core, but for a PC.

    Mechwarrior 2? The gameplay is great but the graphics are pretty dated. Gun Metal has better graphics but the rest of the game isn't as good as Mercs. War World probably has the best graphics out of the three but it plays more like Unreal than Armored Core.

    War World actually looks pretty sweet, I think I will check that out...Are there any more recent Mechwarrior games or is 2 the best out of the series?

    And also- What is Mercs?

    Apparantly, the pc version of Slave Zero was far better than the dreamcast version.

    It's short for Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries. Or the game Mercenaries, depending on the context.

    Mercs was actually an expansion/spin-off for MW2. ;-) It's been years since I've played it, so I can't remember if it was stand-alone or required the original MW2.

    Edit : I are dumb. There was a MW4: Mercs as well. Forgive my ignorance.
