    I'll pass on the real battle, I've been staying up too late recently and I'm probably going to pass out after this.

    One more Pokemon to train! Unfortunately, I'm still two steps away from starting to train it... yay for Egg Moves, eh? I also still need to escort Marley through Victory Road to grab that Leftovers and maybe try to get the Explosion TM for one of my team members. I have the feeling that my team won't do so well as it's not properly balanced, but it's a bit too late to turn back now!

    After a month of craziness I finally am finished training my team. Anyone up for a battle? I have never battled competetively so this will be my first time.

    Alritey, I have to get 32 more Speed EV's and I don't know how to spread out my other EV's.

    This is for my Drifblim who is going to be my total dick poke, his goal in life will be NOT to be one shot'd while getting off a Thunder Wave. After that he will be using Rest, and his speed will be greater then that of a choice scarfing Heracross.

    HP is obvious, but should I split my remaining EV's into Def/Sp. Def or focus more on one or the other? I am thinking of jacking defense up, because of his major common weaknesses that are more likely to get STAB'd and are more common (Dark, Rock), but that leaves his Sp. Def low (Ele, Ice, Ghost). But the later are either less common or predictable in their placement.

    Thoughts?

    Edit: He will be using a Lum berry and recycling it like a mad man, so a focus sash is out of the question.

    Personally I think if you are facing a smart player you are just as likely to be hit by any of those attacks. I would split the ev's evenly between sp defense and defense instead of just going all out in either. Drifblim isn't exactly the best option for an annoyer either. But, hey, if you like the pokemon I am sure you can find a way to use him effectively.
