Edit: Thread edited to basically include all tech purchases.
Week to week we all spend way too much money on games. It all begins with an innocent visit to your local games store, and ends with you walking out with 4-5 games and no way to buy food for the week.
While I'm passed the point of starving to support my gaming addiction, I still find myself buying games for the sheer value of having them. Old games, new games, games that I just want to have in my collection. I buy them, and companies keep putting them out.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, why fight it? Instead of bitching about buying games, post what you bought this week, or what you plan on picking up this week. Support each other in our quests to have the perfect collection that we can't possibly have the time to play.

I got pretty lucky this week in a couple trips to a couple local game shops.
Scored myself a copy of Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2 for $40. It's missing the instruction booklet, but it looks great in my DDS box set that I got with the original.
Just today I couldn't believe it when I walked into a mom&pop shop and spotted a copy of Suikoden V for $25. I had never even seen this title in stores, so I picked it up asap.

Pre-ordered SMT: Persona 3
What did you pick up?

What do you guys think of wario ware? I intend to get EBA, pheonix wright and all the other staples eventually, but I'd like something fun to just pick up and play for a few minutes that makes good use of the touch screen.
Short, but sweet.
I then downloaded Bomberman Live.
EDIT: And you have my keyboard, but not the SE edition, which is cooler.
Me: Nothing. And will be nothing for the next couple months. Saving all my dough for the onslaught of christmas.

I haven't tried Wario Ware, but I suggest looking into Meteos or Planet Puzzle League. Both are very excellent and fit what you're looking for.
I bought Drill Dozer for the GBA a couple days ago. I'd say it was worth the $15, and the built-in rumble is spiffy. It's a shame the cart sticks out of my DS though. I'm considering picking up Pokemon Emerald, but I'm thinking I'd be better off trying to clear through my backlog and waiting for MP3, Phantom Hourglass, and the holiday season.
How much does that thing COST?! I cant find a price.
I also purchased a screen protector and paid for some of the upcoming games I plan on picking up. I also set some money aside for this fall's awesome games.
I need to make myself take a trip down to ye old fry's. Finally force myself to buy oblivion, see if there's any Wii games I've forgotten I wanted to buy(Because I've barely played the thing for a few months), same with the PC(Except I'm constantly on it).

I bought: Forgotten Realms Deluxe Edition DVD Pack for PC, which includes Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast, Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, Icewind Dale 1, Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter, Icewind Dale 2, Neverwinter Nights, Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide, Neverwinter Nights: Horde of the Underdark. All for $50.
I reserved, and fully paid off: Bioshock Limited Edition and Mass Effect, both for XBox 360.
Woohoo!
Oh yeah... and while I was there I bought a Nintendo Wii... Which seems cheapish, until you buy another remote... and then realize... Damn! I need some games for it.
I kind of want to pick up Ninja Gaiden Sigma for my xBox360... I hear it is somewhat awesome.
I found something on my PC last week that was more fun than any game I had purchased for awhile...
3D pinball is deeper, and more complex than I ever could have imagined... It was made by Maxis too.
Play for 5 minutes, and you will play for five minutes.
Play for 30 minutes, and you will play for hours.
EDIT: Yech... double post
If I get a Wii this summer, however, all this changes. Brawl, Galaxies, Bleach, Freeloader, and Gekitou Ninja Taisen 5/whatever it is all get added to the purchase list.
Reminds me of PSOnes playing PS2 games back in the day. God bless trashy people and their comedic value.

I have always scoffed the idea of preorders; has anyone here had trouble getting a game before? A new game, that is.
Not for major releases, but if there's a limited edition version of an Atlus or Nippon Ichi title, you bet your ass you should reserve it.
I have had trouble a few times. Last game I believe was Chrome Hounds for the 360. I am getting the game for sure, so why not pre-order it? I do live a small town so that could be the problem.
And to correct myself I reserved Super Mario Strikers sequel Mario Strikers Charged, not the original.
I can't wait to play Beyond the Sword.....
Holy shit Bomby my boy, I think you single handly solved the problem I was having today while browsing for a new desk. I wanted to get a new TV to replace my non-HDTV for my upcoming 360 purchase for Mass Effect/Halo3 but just couldn't find one that would work with the desks I saw at Ikea.
BUT.
I have bought Trapt, Devil May Cry and Phantom Brave. All used though. Damn you my mint gaming collection sensibilities and the major suckage that is buying console games in Poland.
Yes, import. But no import with no moniez. Cry.
Not the best game in the series, but far from the worst.

There was a thread on SA with linkage to a video showing off Dark Illusions. That sold me on the game.
I'd like to start Phantom Brave, but I have to finish Lucifer's Call and damn it, I took a quick look around the final dungeon. Two major terminals? This is going to take a while.
