From wikipedia:
In MGS 4, players will also utilize a new form of camouflage called "Octocamo", which replaces the camouflage system featured in Metal Gear Solid 3. Grey-black when disabled, the Octocamo suit allows the wearer to blend in with any surface in the manner of an octopus.

Snake will also be partnered with a robotic drone, which allows communication between characters, serving as a substitute to the CODEC radio system from previous games. It also appears capable of engaging enemies.

So... no more codec. That seems kind of strange, I don't think that you'll be left without a method of communication without that little drone

The camo sounds awesome though, not having to dick around with camouflage menus just because you're standing in grass now now just crouching in it is awesome.

Euro Extreme the Fury is powered by Satan. I have concluded to give up tranqing him and just knife his ass. I'd like to just shoot a hole in his helmet and have him suffocate to death from non-fury saturated air though.

so was I, that's why I was getting fisted. You have to be quick though.

Here's the thing, they didn't upgrade his view distance to euro extreme levels. he can't see very far ahead. you have to hit him with the second shot before he fires though.

Ink is the last resort. You change colors all awesome like. Actually, recent studies have shown Cuttlefish (related to octopuses) to be highly intelligent, and have crazy color change abilities. Theres a good PBS thing on them you can check out, it's pretty cool stuff: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/camo/change.html#ch01
The second video down has the really cool hypnosis thing they do.

Yeah, The Fury is about 3/4 into the game. Ocelot is all about ducking and popping up, and shooting behives. Make sure you use some bugspray if he shoots a hive too.

Edit: Oh, wrong game. I really want PO after the last few pages of the last thread.

The first boss in Portable Ops is actually really easy once you know the trick. The trick, is not to hide. Shoot him with an either the tranq gun or AK-47 or some other automatic weapon, whilst circling him by holding the fire button down and the analogue nub to the left or right. This keeps you locked you on to him if you get the range correct, and his shots mostly miss, because you never stop moving.

There is nothing more for me to give you. All that's left for you to take is my life, by your own hand. One must die and one must live. No victory, no defeat. The survivor will carry on the fight. It is our destiny. The one who survives will inherit the title of Boss. And the one who inherits the title of Boss will face an existence of endless battle.

I'll give you 10 minutes. In 10 minutes, MiGs will come and bomb the hell out of this place. If you can beat me in less than 10 minutes, you'll be able to escape in time.
