Need a bit of PC help

Okay here's the story. I recently bought and built my own PC and although it works wonderfully for the most part, however I've recently run into some trouble with my graphics card. The graphic card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102086) is a 512mb ATI X1650. Now here's the frustration part. I plugged it in and everything was fine, although the fps on WoW was a little slow for what I would expect the card to be capable of. I couldn't figure out why the framerate would be so slow, other than perhaps that I was running a 350W power supply, (I've since gotten a 500w) so I went to bed. The next morning when I turned it on it didn't even boot up. All the lights and fans came on, the dvd drive worked, but it wouldn't start up windows. I have no idea why it would just suddenly stop working, but just to try things I took out the card and hooked up the monitor directly to the motherboard and used the on-board video. The computer started up just fine. When I put the card back in it did the same thing and didn't even boot. It is still doing the same thing even with the new power supply as I thought perhaps the reason was a lack of power. The mother board is a (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138047) Basically a BIOSTAR P4M80-M4-COMBO44.

All in all I'm wondering if anyone knows why the graphics card would suddenly cause my computer to not boot up over night. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Assuming the card is seated correctly and on it's own 12v rail, it sounds to me like you just got unlucky and had the card fail. It happens. Since it's new you should be under warranty. RMA it.

Thanks for the help. Anybody else have some info on it? I'd like to try everything else before sending it back.

The only other things you can really try are putting your graphics card into a different computer or putting a different graphics card into your computer, but in all likelihood you just got a lemon and your problems will be solved by RMAing your card.
