So this is a general drinking thread, post your favorite beers and boozes. We all know the drill.
One exception, and I'm dead serious about this, if you post PBR, you will be mocked until your ass is red and tender.
My favorites fall back beers;
Guinness
New Castle
Smitticks
Corona
Dos Equis(sp?)
Heffe Wiezen
And then my new favorite is this Sam Adams Cherry wheat.
Anyone had that? It's amazing. It takes away most of the bitter after taste that most beers have and replaces it with cherry. And I know, that sounds kinda girly, but it's just the after taste. It taste like a light wheat beer, with a good hint of cherry at the end.
And I also had a hidden motive in making this thread;
I recently got into whiskeys. I'm starting to genuinley enjoy whisky on the rocks and I'm wondering what a good, medium priced one is. Right now I'm drinking Knob Creek which seems really nice, but I'm wondering what other brands there are to look out for.
Same goes for rum. I like a lot of it, but I tend to sway towards stuff like Captain morgans, tattoo especially, because it's sweeter. But I'm wondering what a good brand of rum to buy would be.

I also like high-quality vodka. Belvedere is my personal favorite.
Finally, Bacardi Razz and Coke is one of the greatest mixed drinks ever.
Complete opposite end of the spectrum, St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout. Very thick, and a burnt chocolatey-mocha aftertaste that I enjoy.
As for general 'I'm at the bar and they don't have anything fancy' beers, Sleeman's Honey Brown, Guinness and Corona are all pretty decent.
For those special occasions, Fuller's London Porter is very good.
ROBIN FALLS
WHO KNEW
I am a big fan of Mohitos as well.
For a nice evening, Adnam's Broadside
For awesomeness, Moniak Mead.
I made a TD for iphone and windows phone!
(It was my second time drinking ever)
Three Smirnoff Ices and a shot of Bacardi 151
It didn't do shit to me
Smirnoff ice?
What the hell?
I tried one and holy shit I could not drink it
Anyways, there's an Irish bar close to me that serves Strawberry cider. It is also normally filled with people. I do not think these two facts are unrelated.
There's also a nice Austrian bar nearby which serves Hainfelder in Steins (i.e. giant 1 litre mugs), and also Wheat Beer which is nice for novelty.
Can't find anywhere that does mead though
Wine's even better.
The closest you can come to death without the white light is a wine hangover.
did you discover this on the way downstairs the next morning?
i really don't have a preference
yep
"why is this stair wet and a little sticky ah fuck"
Aww
You're more innocent than a 10 year old boy's asshole.
My first time drinking was much more fun
A few margaritas and a few tequila shots
I have nothing to say here ironically.
i hate whiskey too
just give me vodka plz
Bah, I quoted the wrong post, initially, though.
But then I realized I can drink straight whiskey without vomiting or as a shot. Where as vodka I can only handle mixed or in shot form.
I have no problem sipping warm liquor. Hell, I usually take a hip flask of warm vodka with me to outtings.
Warm freaks me out.
It's called Hefeweizen. Which, by the way, is the beer I like most.
Also Duckstein is awesome:
I don't like strong liquors because I don't get drunk, but I drink wine. Such as the Muscat de Rivesaltes from Château de Jau. That is a really great wine:
Also good is the Gallo rosé:
I like posting pictures of stuff.
Half blue moon, half Guinness, and they sort of sit on top of each other, mixing in the middle. Pretty tasty.
Fix'd
With a stick or two of celery.
Delicious
I'm conflicted.
Thats my second middle name.
My first middle name is dumbass.
I have two middle names.
I drank 4/5ths of a bottle of smirinof smoked some weed threw up everywhere, banged my head on a lampost and called the sister of the host of a party a whore (that's the only bit of the night I can clearly remember)
Apparently she then got really shitty and broke the party up.
I woke up on the grass next to an icecream container of my own vomit.
Satans..... hints.....
They are even kind of enough to let your know in their beer's title.
