Facebook going down?

So I heard Facebook is facing a lawsuit re: some source code being stolen or some shit.

Friends are telling me it's going down on the 25th, which is tomorrow... but I haven't heard this anywhere else.

Seems kind of unlikely seeing as how Facebook turned down a $1billion buyout by Yahoo.

Any comments or confirmations?

    at least I can ignore Facebook. MySpace is seemingly everywhere, and I have seen the worst of that culture.

    Earlier this morning I was trying to log on and it said "Your account is unavailable"

    are they using my facebook as evidence cause I'm not cool with that.

    Actually, they need to exsist so we can keep a check on all these attention whores. If they disperse we might not be able to avoid these people.

    facebook is a great way to keep in touch with people. It's basically my addressbook.

    People are so offended by these sites, hoping they get shut down. Here's a thought: DON'T GO THEM.

    I spend entirely too much time on Facebook.

    It's saved me so much money in the way of text messages... the Group and Event stuff is just... superb.

    I love the Happy Birthday phenomenon, where people you haven't talked to in ages will wish you a Happy Birthday on your Facebook wall and add like 20+ posts more than there would actually be.
