Very few of all these Halo fans even know what the goddamn Marathon symbols are (the Durandal sig and the like when you pick difficulties). Plus, if they figured out a better way to present the story (besides the terminals) it would be one of the best games of all time in EVERYONE'S mind and not just mine.

I do believe they are beefing it up a little and putting it up for XBox Live. Not a complete overhaul, still more or less the same game I believe, but it's being tweaked a little.

Well a re-make as in updated graphics, voice acting, and the like. A-la Doom 3 style, except better and Doom 3 was a pretty good remake of 1.
I remember that game... I also remember not being able to pass one part with a cliff... I remember falling DOWN the cliff a lot... but that was about it.

A Baldur's Gate spin-off that doesn't suck:
The Continued Adventures of Edwin & Minsc (and Boo)
Also, an Iron Chef game for the Wii.

Shenmue 3
Snatcher 2
Day of the Tentical 2: Purple Tentacle Returns
An English Cowboy Bebop Video Game
Crusader 3: No Future
Trigun: Planet Gun Smoke
Tron 3.0
Star Wars: Luke Skywalker Saga (following just the events of Luke)
Good call, but why you included this game into your list and didn't mention Secret of Mana 2 (3) blows my mind
Mainly because I never had Secret of Mana when I was a kid, and the first time I ever played it was a couple years ago on an emulator so it basically has no nostalgic value for me.
The Continued Adventures of Edwin & Minsc (and Boo)
Also, an Iron Chef game for the Wii.
iron chef would be bloody amazing, im addicted to that show
they could actually make that really good for wii, itd be the only console id like to see it come out on if it ever were to
Also,
X-Com 2 (don't tell me about afterlight, extraterrestrials, or any other half-ass hack job remake)
Baldur's Gate 3 (i miss black isle!)
Icewind Dale 3
Menzoberranzan 2
Conflict 2
Desert Commander 2
Guardian Legend 2
Someone said this already, but an awesome new D&D Based RPG. I like NWN, but I want something new.
It's sure to draw the pitchforks and torches from the FR fans, but I'd love to see a BG/NWN-ish game set in Eberron. (So far, I've managed to keep pretending that Dragonshards and DDO never existed; please don't go shattering my illusions!)

There are FR fans?
I always figured people only played it because its the only setting thats had video games released for it in over 10 years.
Thief 4 =(. Edit: Let me clairfy that. A real Thief 4...I like Thief 3 okay and all, but it was overall a pretty big letdown to me. Thief 1 and 2 are my all-time favorites but 3 just missed it. Small things like the lack of intro cutscenes on the missions, to bigger stuff like the design of the levels. There were a few good ones with alternate paths, but nothing like the originals. I enjoyed the story a lot though.
And you fellows who said Flashback 2, bravo. I'd love to see any new games in the style of Flashback or Out of this World.
Edit 2: Oh! And a new Panzer Dragoon. mmmmmmm

How exactly would that work? Most of the point of Iron Chef seems to be whipping together excellent food from arbitrary ingredients. There's no way for a program to evaluate that kind of thing, and having a fixed bank of recipes seems like it would go against the spirit of the show.
This is more of an idea for a movie that will never be made, but given the current state of marketing it would almost certainly have a game that will never be made along side it.
I've mentioned this in other threads, but a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask using an improved Wind Waker engine on the Wii. Highly stylized, cel shaded Fierce Deity Link? Yes, please.
If you never played the game, you'll never understand it's awesome power.
The sounds of the Surf Guitar over the screams of players tagged with a cord and whipped around your rocket at speeds exceeding the pull of gravity, then tagging them to a bomb and whipping the cord out across the arena.
Ahh, Rocket Jockey. The greatest game ever. How I miss thee.

Oh man, I always wanted to play that game. I'm not sure how I never ended up trying it, but it looked like such a blast back in the day.

It probably will exist, but not soon enough for my liking. An online PC wrestling game. A good one. I remember at least one attempt, but it apparently blew choad. It's a license to print money, practically.

Months.
Played this for MONTHS. Then it would lock up at times; bad video card/coding, bad!
a true series finale to the Legacy of Kain storyline, under Amy Hennig's direction
That's something we'll probably never see.
While the second is definitely less feasible, Tony Jay's dead. It would be a tall feat for them to maintain suspension of disbelief if the Elder God never shows up, or is voiced by someone else.
Kingdom Hearts 3 with a Gargoyles level. Fight Demona, why? WHY FUCK ARE YOU ASKING THAT? Demona has plenty of reasons to cause pain and chaos and would easily be fought. Hell, make you fight her the moment you drop in.
I want a turn-based basketball game where the court is divided into squares and the players have CT timers.
Yeah.
There would be, like, cyborg players and magic spells... and guns! It would be so chaotic that often times you'd forget all about who had the ball. In fact somebody might summon in some extra balls or attach explosives to some decoy balls and pass those around. There would also be teleportation and the ability to disguise your guys as members of the other team.
Job classes!
This was my natural train of thought when somebody asked me what it would take to get me to play a sports game.
with a new minigame where you hide from your boss by diving across cubicle aisles while dodging falling ceiling pieces and answering phone calls randomly from the nearby desks...i'm at work so that's the best i could think of.
Incredible Crisis is one of my favorite games...i definitely love the more wacky stuff. Like katamari--which fortunately already has several sequels.
1. A new installment to the Crusader series. For those who don't know the games check out Crusader: No Remorse and No Regret.
2. A Privateer MMO. This was one of the first of the free form games and would fit perfectly into the MMO format. Actually, since Priateer is a smaller part of the Wing Commander galaxy how about they combine the two into one MMO. Can you imagine the massive Kilrathi vs. Terran Confederation battles you could have? EDIT: EA is just plain stupid letting these games and most of the others they got from Origin Systems rot away. How can they ingore the stong fan bases for these games that still exist?
3. X-com. It doesn't matter if its a remake or a new game. This was one of the best turn based strategy games ever released. Bring it back!
4. No One Lives Forever 3. Shooters in general are far to serious. I want to see more games like this that take it self and the genre with a health sense of humor.
5. A new Deus Ex. I happened to like Deus Ex 2. Granted it wasn't as good as the first and a lot of the features that were cut out should come back. The potential here is undeniable. The only real problem is that its more that most developers could pull off. The only one I can think of that might be able to do it is Irrational Games.

Iron Chef
the japanese one, not the crappy american one. No clue how it'd work, but i'd play the hell out of it.
I say metahuman instead of superhero because I want a game that gives you some super power templates and a city to tool around in
and then lets you decide via missions, personal choices, and interaction with "the media" if you want to be a hero, villain, or something in the middle.
more like depressing thread, so many awesome ideas that will never come to life.
Not enough love to the incredible machine: wii edition, tha game would be so awesome!
I also vote for Homeworld 3 and Thief 4. But Thief needs to be made with the remote in mind, imagine picking locks, pickpocketing, blackjacking... its just too good, its also damn sad it will probably never happen.

Doom 3 was a terrible remake of Doom, there is no reason to play it over the original.

See also: MMO. Fuck you, City of Heroes.
I would love another JSRF game... Only a very few games have ever cause me to go slightly dilusional because I played them too long...
Seriously... I couldn't sleep because I was still playing the game in my head... and all around me... it was insane.
But it was glorious.
And also...
That would be interesting.

All we hear is a half-hearted "maybe" about their future... god damn you Ubisoft. *sniffle*
