I fucking hate people who treat me like some kind of glorified taxi service. After a while i start getting very passive aggressive and always start trying to position my summoning portal over the edge of a huge drop, or in lava or something like that.

I'd say wait a while until Blizzard has some idea of what they want to do with the class. You mileage may vary but on my server the warlock population has all but dried up (we do have an infestation of death knights though). The last couple of Naxx runs I've been on with my guild I've been the only warlock.
Well I mean it's not entirely bad. I mean the novelty of not being unopposed on like any of your loot rolls has yet to wear off for me. But, it's a little dishearting to be outnumberd by elemental shamans during a raid. Who if anything have more problems then we do at the moment.
The major problem with Warlock PvP at the moment, to grossly simplify things for the sake of argument, is that we are being treated as flat-footed mages in terms of balancing and itemization.
But, all three talent trees have different priorities when it comes to gear, for example demonology gains a greater benefit from say stamina and intellect then say affliction because of DK where to a certain degree all mage trees gain equal benefit from whatever stats there gear has (the notable exception being crit for fire), furthermore warlocks of each tree have a greater delta in play style then say a mage of each tree would.
This is not to say the entire fault is on Blizzard's head mind you. A lot of people who play warlocks think they can get away with the same tactics regardless of their specs or current situation. Such as a former guildie of mine, nice guy but worthless in arena would go spec demo and just stand there blasting away while in line of sight of the other team.
Pvp's all mucked up right now because no one has any resilience, and the abundance of raid/heroic gear is making things bursty as hell. Which especially sucks for warlocks because we're one of the least mobile classes.
That being said, I've seen hardly any warlocks getting efficient use out of demonic circle.
Eat it You Nasty Pig. on
hold your head high soldier, it ain't over yet
that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat
Yeah I'm just getting back into warcraft again. I have a 70 lock.. not too sure about talents. Ive read the last few pages of the thread, seen some talk about how destruction is better than before, but also that afflic is still preferred for leveling.

What do you guys suggest? How is demonology now?
I'm affliction for leveling and I seem to kill stuff very fast with zero downtime.

Not sure how demo compares.
Likewise. I'm up to 77 with like 53 or so point into Affliction and the rest in Demonology and you just chew through mobs with almost no downtime.

I leveled demo/aff (felguard and siphon life at the same time, yay!) and it had very little downtime.

I'm 75 now, basically I never die, and I pull mobs non-stop. I don't really go by the suggestion in the article of dotting them up and then fearing them, it makes it a pain in the ass trying to track down the bodies to loot. I just dot them up and run around finding more things to dot.
The downside of it is, having >5 things beating on me on a pvp server, apparently makes me a giant target to any douchebag flying by, as I get the gank a lot.
Finally got myself to Revered Kirin Tor, woohoo! Picked up the Dagger and the off-hand from Heroism Emblems...the one that isnt called Scarlet ard or whatever.
Bumped my spellpower up like another 100 points.

I see tons of people with both of those items
I will not buy either of them when I hit revered with the kirin tor because in the vain chance I can go to naxx for far better items
And, you do realize that the only way gear will drop is when you had just upgraded, right?
I am not poor in the way of gold
I am saving my badges from the heroics I have done to buy either the pants or shoulders
I am waiting for when Wintergrasp is for the horde and asking for others for the quick boss run for a vain chance at the plauge heart robes
I guess I am the freak leveling full affliction. 3 mobs, no problem. 5 mobs, ok I cast a haunt towards the end. 7 mobs, oh no I need a haunt and a drain. Oh the spec is:
The points in destruction are left over from playing with this in raids and for dungeons. 3 second shadowbolts make weep.
After leveling my warrior as prot which was awesome but slow this is just unnatural in its speed. I think a lot has to do I am wearing a ton of Isle badge gear, some za gear and some kara gear.
If by freak you mean bog standard choice. Then yes, yes you are.

Okay so you've got 43 hit rating and you're refusing to get the two easiest hit rating upgrades on the chance that you'll get an upgrade from Naxxramas....... Yeah, enjoy riding laps around Dalaran.
And, you do realize that the only way gear will drop is when you had just upgraded, right?
Haha.
Or, in the case of my feral druid, the epic feral staff will drop from heroic VH shortly before I had the Kirin Tor rep to buy the revered feral staff. It saved me some gold getting it now rather than after hitting revered, but that's kind of a lot of championing rep going toward nothing, as Kirin Tor rep is useless for a feral other than the staff. I guess slightly cheaper repairs and reagents in Dalaran is a bonus, so I'll probably just finish out honored anyway, but the point remains valid.

Badges I can kinda understand, but I have so many spare badges I bought the woolly mammoth (200 badges).
End on
I wish that someway, somehow, that I could save every one of us
My lock is at 70, demo. I haven't really looked at the new trees (took a break before coming back post-WotLK release) so I'm wondering what the typical PvE grinding spec is now. I hear lots of good things about aff, but I really like my felguard.

There is always a way to kill people via summoning it may take time but we will find a way
Pity the Demon Form is only 30 seconds.
If it's perm i would resub immediately.
Actually, it will make summon dropping EASIER.
For druids.

I'm a unique snowflake now.

That means I am staying in WAR. :winky:

Soulblade.
I like my Life and Death personally. (But that's 25man naxx) That kinda rules me out of getting KT's 25man version weapon when we kill him though

I am a freaking nerd.
The principle of it, wearing pvp gear for pve, just bothers me.
Fixed?
Super fixed!
Me too!
I went with the build discussed here

Wowhead link for the build at 71,
