They'd replace Donphan and Miltank. The hippo automatically sets up Sandstorm (which lasts the whole battle unless a new weather comes in, right?) Subs, attacks while the Sub is up, and heals itself. Probo gets the +50% SpDefense, helps out Togekiss with Paralyzing stuff, and can survive his 4x weaknesses and proceed to blow up to take them down with him. Since Skarmory is the only Steel type immune to Ground, I opted for an unSTAB'd Earthquake instead of something like Stone Edge with Magnet Pull in effect.
You've got 3 guys who are 2x weak to fighting, but you've got to make concessions somewhere, so I'd say that's looking pretty good.

Ooh, nice. Scratch Protect, he'd still live through an Earthquake or Close Combat and blow up regardless. Better to pull fast one on those damn Skarmorys.

It does. It negates flying type and levitate.
