I think it's a cruel joke that I have to keep Mismagius for the duration of this tournament. Gengar, in every form, is a thousand times better then her but I don't want to use him. I already have my sixth guy to replace her; a fully EV'd, ready to go Tauros that I have to stave away until I lose.
Cursed wins. Who needs 'em.
Heh, I'm trying to make a Trapinch, which is just an all around worse Garchomp. :P I still don't know if I'll use this one I got or breed more.
Stay strong, brotha. Make him as strong as possible and beat other Garchomps with him. Then, you shall succeed.
Mismagius can Calm Mind unlike Gengar. It can beat Blissey one on one which is always cool.
And Flygon is one of the best canidates for Life Orb. It's immune to Sandstorm, Spikes, and resisitant to Stealth Rock. Plus it has a recovery move.
Let me put it this way: my luck is so bad that I've actually considered putting Knock Off on one of my tanks JUST so that I can knock off my opponent's item, because it MIGHT be a Quick Claw, Bright Powder, or Scope Lens.
Or you could battle people like me who will never ever use those items. :]
Luck comes and goes. You always remember the bad times and forget the times you are lucky. This is coming from a guy who has had half his team frozen in one game.
I don't recall you having bad luck in our battle.
Sure I did! I had the bad luck of being matched up against a guy with a Swellow, the one Pokemon that is a straight up counter to my entire team, plain and simple. :P
Also, I do believe that you got some crit hax thrice that match, but none of them were match-breaking. At that point the game was already decided, so I didn't really care.
The thing about my good luck is that it's extremely badly timed. For example, against Ronzo, my Mr. Mime passed 4 confusion checks and got two criticals to kill an Empoleon with Psychic. That was CRAZY good luck.
Except I had already essentially lost the match. This was the one, mind you, where that whole Quick Claw Thunedr hax to Rock Slide missing hax debacle happened. I would have gladly gone without my instance of good luck if it meant that ronzo didn't get all those fucking crazy hax which broke my team's back.
I'm also the guy who always gets a unnecessary critical hit when the hit would have fainted the opponent anyway.t
That's the spirit, live in your little bubble of denail!
Seriously, if you like him so much, to hell if he sucks. Same thing applies to me with Leafeon, I just wuvs him too much to give him the permenant boot. Plus that STAB'd physical Grass attack (out of only three good Physical Grass attacks) is too sexy to leave. Good Water counter since most of them have low Defense.
Hey, what moveset are you using for Leafeon? You don't have to tell me -- I'm just curious. I thought I was being all unique, planning to use Leafeon (I mean, Leafeon), back when I started planning my as-yet incipient team, but then you added your trainer-card and I thought, oh, I guess not. Mine is going to be Leaf Blade/Toxic/Double Team/Baton Pass for near-maximum evil.

When Mime did the item swap he got gengars scope lense. Thats why the crits kept coming. Also, the thunder ha was because of rain dance, and doesnt rockslide have like 75% acc.?
Also, fuck gloom. I cant get one that has good spec attack and def. So far, if one of those is good, the other is 0-2 IV's
Ahh... home again, freshly showered, and DS is on. Life is good.

Ah, I forgot about the scope lense I got from the Gengar, I guess.
I don't really care about the Thunder having 100% hit% in rain. What made me nearly throw my DS against the wall was how your Ampharos just happened to have a Quick Claw, just happened to have Thunder, and just happened to get a Quick Claw hax the FIRST turn for MASSIVE damage. You know, seeing as Kabutops eould have one-shotted him and taken no damage otherwise.

Also, Rock Slide has 90% acc.
Ampharos is slow. Very Slow. But he has pretty good defense and lots of hp. You may have killed it. I gave it quick claw just for the very reason that came up in our battle.

Gah. Why must I be so picky when it comes to breeding? You'd think two 31 IV's would be good enough but nooooo. I have to keep soft reseting in the hopes of that third one sneaking in.

This is the second mid-battle D/C I've had this tourny on the DS, I have yet to have on ever on PBR.
More people need to get PBR.

Narian, don't quit. That was a bullshit D/C for certain, but the game wasn't over yet.
Don't you dare quit.

The disconnects are very rarely anyone's fault. The WFC is just a real bitch sometimes. It's interesting how the connection seems so much better on PBR, though I've noticed lag a lot of times.

I was jumping up and down at first. You see, he had just used an attack against me that would have killed one of my last guys, but it was during a sandstream and my landshark was out. I thought I had lucked out finally and gotten the 20% chance to miss. No animation = miss.
Then nothing happened.

Sweet! Searching for Gible got me Earthquake the TM! No gible yet though Does he appear anywhere you can reach from the secret entrance? Or only the room with the TM? Or everything but that room?

Gibles should appear in that basement area - below the alternate entrance, and below where the Earthquake TM is. Veekun says there's a 15% encounter rate, so keep trying.
I don't know why people don't use Veekun more - it's my preferred pokedex. [/plug]

I need to breed a couple tomorrow or Friday, I can trade you one.
I prefer the setup of Psypokes to Veekun, but Psypokes is to arrogant to let you right click so I now I use Veekun, freaky messed up Eevee thing and all.

Because psypokes doesn't have a creepy anthro Eevee.

Hmm, never noticed the freaky Eevee thing before. THANKS?
Really, it's not that obtrusive. I like the search tools and crossreferencing. Then again, I haven't really tried out Psypokes.
Psypokes has a very nice setup and a lot of information, and no evil Eevee. But it blocks right clicking, and thus should perish. But it doesn't have the freakeevee. But I rely on right clicking. But that Eevee (shudder).

One player is winning, a disconnect happens, they play a rematch and the player that was losing wins the second game.
both times were handled by playing a third match
