    Like listen to more Hadyn.
Did I ever tell you about the Haydn I saw a few months ago?

    Do tell.
The 60th. It was the surprising standouts of the show, behind Bartok's Miraculous Mandarin (which is just bitchin' live, especially with Philly's new organ). Keep in mind this was a program featuring Stravinsky too, which shows how impressed I was with it. At the end of (I believe) the slow movement, the conductor dropped the baton, which was pretty funny in a "you had to be there" way.

Oh man I'm jealous. I LOVE the 60th.

But guess who's getting tickets for Tristan in a few weeks.

    SQWUEEEEEE

I don't think I've ever seen a guy (who wasn't pretending to be a girl) sqwee before.

Damnit, I would like it very much if unknown local bands would stop editing their own last.fm entry to make it (1) suck, (2) violate a dozen rules and (3) turn into a commercial. <_< Or maybe it was a rabid fanboi, I get to edit these things back to something that makes sense (and deleting half the stuff) anyway, so woo, I am a contributing member of society!

I got Silent Hill 2 today!

    How scary is it?

    Very.

And just so I don't feel left out, I got Second sight, Fable, The Mark of Kri and Clock tower 3 today. I love Gamestation's 4 for £20 section.

2.5 hours of work left on my first day back.

remember that it's easy is nice. remember that long days get boring fast is not.

8 hours tomorrow. but then thursday is kevin smith! and I'll have the only empty seat in the house next to me.

i'm tired. which is great, I haven't been tired in weeks because I haven't done shit. I actually feel good, even after just the little bit of work. I feel alive. not like with adrenaline, but like I'm not half asleep.

How much do PS2 games generally go for now, and how hard is it to find them? I'm considering picking a PS2 up from ebay or something, but if the games are consistently $30+ I might wait to see if the PS3 gets any traction and push them down.

I never played Shenmue 1 either, but I loved Shenmue 2. It definitely had a slow section (making 500 kongbucks stacking boxes O_o) but after that you can make money by fighting Bloodsport matches. The latter half of the game is amazing. It is so satisfying
to finally kill that zebra bitch with her own chainsaw, after an epic pipe/chainsaw duel.

If only they would make Shenmue 3...

The first is better, if you ask me.

Shenmue 2 doesn't feel as down-to-earth. You're actually part of a community in part 1.

2 goes more places, but it felt empty somehow.
And the ending is just plain wrong. Don't cliffhanger something you might not finish.
