There is no reason why this show should have been canceled. It was the perfect repository for mullets, bad mustaches, and pure cheese on television.

Every weeknight at 7pm on ESPN classic, you too can relive this show.

    Assault was the best event ever, the one where they have to run from station to station to shoot weapons at a target over the Gladiator's head.

    Apparently one of the girl Gladiators (Siren) was deaf.

    Huh. Didn't know that.

    And apparently only one Gladiator competed in all seven seasons of the show. (Laser)

    Reading through the Wiki article it looks like people got injured left and right in that show. (Okay I mean I knew that already but at least it's been confirmed.)

    Can you imagine what would happen if they brought that show back now?

    Parents would be all like

    What was the weird ball game? Power Ball?


    Where they had to dunk the balls in those little baskets?


    That was the most frustrating thing ever to watch.


    Just kept getting destroyed by those fucking giant tank-men.

    One episode I watched this scrawny-looking but super-fit contender get clotheslined by Turbo in that event.

    It was a scary thing to watch. You're just like... ooooooooooooooooooooh.

    Swingshot looked like a lot of fun, with the bungee cords and them having to jump up to the balls suspended over the arena.

    Hang Tough and Skytrack were the hardest of the bunch... at least they looked that way.
