So I've got a bit of a problem here. Neither Firefox nor Internet Explorer will load any pages for me. I've done anything from resetting the network adapter, flushing the DNS, running some antivirus scans, and trying alternative browsers before I found that the only short term solution was restarting the computer.
I have no idea what's wrong, now. I'm still connected to the internet; I've got a p2p program running, can ping other people on hamachi, and bet if I tried I'd be able to play an online game. Restarting the computer every hour or two is beginning to grate on my nerves.
I'm assuming other people have encountered similar problems. What solutions worked?
Do you have a firewall thing or something up? I know my Norton Internet Protection (Boooooo) will do stuff like this sometimes. I just turn it off and everything is back to normal
Fasterfox is a blight on the servers of all websites, and will not solve the problem of neither browser loading pages.
If you are on XP and running a P2P program, maybe you are running into the cap on simultaneous TCP connections? You can get a patch to disable that here: http://www.lvllord.de/

Try that, it worked for me, it's only for Firefox though.
Edit: Actually go to google, and type in Fasterfox, click on first link, and download it.
It helps.
