Services and Controller app error

So, I recently had a bit of a fight with some spyware.

I managed to get rid of nearly all of it, the only problem remaining is that, if I'm connected to the internet, it will bring up the standard Report/Don't Report screen for a Services and Controller app error. Whether or not I answer, I'm immediately shunted to a 1-minute shutdown count, and I have to set my clock back an hour to keep working.

Both AVG spyware and anti-virus give me a clean bill of health, and HiJack This doesn't show anything suspicious.

IIRC that can be caused if you delete a particular instance of SVChost from your process tree. Since some viruses enjoy hiding under the alias of SVCHost it's possible you may have shut down the incorrect one.

It's definitely not a SVCHost, as I didn't delete any of them.

Edit: Here are the Error Messages

I've never seen that before. I'm going to say that you probably deleted/quarantined something important. A system restore may work, but some viruses will not be so easily defeated.

Yea I've never seen that either. I did a quick google search and it some other dude had the same problem as you. The forum topic is a good read, and it seemed to fix his issue. I'd def give it a go.

Hmm... his final solution is what I actually used to get rid of the spyware in the first place, except I deleted instead of quarantined.

I'm just going to wait until I can reformat again.

    Thanks for the help, guys.
