Game combinations

Ive always thought combining Crackdown with City of Heroes would probably make the greatest game of all time. Seriously, throwing cars at villans, flying about a massive detailed city, full with physics and cel shaded awesomeness. Im not saying it would be an MMO, more a combination of the themes in COH and COV (like the character creation system, rpg elements and 'Super' lore) with the engine, look and feel of Crackdown.

Im sure there are others.

Toribash combined with any game would be awesome, but for now let's combine it with Ninja Gaiden or Dead Rising

The combat system of Oni combined with the level design and acrobatics of Prince of Persia. This is what I want.

On a side note, I've just started Warrior Within, and am finding the combat a lot more difficult to get to grips with now that they've ramped up the complexity by making you use 2 more buttons for the 'freeform' fighting system. Does the combat actually get good if I bother to take the time to try and master this?

A ridiculous arcade racer on the level of something like Excite Truck with rhythm game elements in the form of turbo bonuses for playing with the music and terrain deformation to the beat. I'm tired of pretending and trying to make the game sync up with my custom soundtracks. I want this game for real.

Yes to the awesome idea, and sadly no to WW's combat. It kinda sucks. You can pull off some interesting stuff, but it will almost never be advantageous when you can just use a cheap move over and over. Oh, and the last fight will make you want to tear out your own eyes.

Klonoa with Sonic as a main character.
Tekken with all of DCs fighters and Batman as the guy with the pointy head.
    Dues Ex/Ratchet and Clank Future TOD/Dark Cloud2.
And I second the Above Halo/Splinter Cell but would also like to add Dues Ex to the mix.

Pretty much anything in third person with platforming and cyberpunk RPG elements. No Magic as my own preference.

2D Super Mario (with all the moves from all previous 2D Super Mario games, including New SMB) in a seamless, non-linear world like the Metroidvania games (all the 2D Metroid games, and all the GBA and DS Castlevanias, i.e., not stage-by-stage, but exploratory, instead.)

Start out with only the basic moves from SMB, then add to your move set by picking up items, which lets you gradually reach more and more of the world. With lots of hidden areas.

Actually, the same concept could apply well to the Megaman / Rockman series.

edit: oooh, ooooh! Imagine the same thing with Sonic!!! One HUUUGE world to zip through continuously! Unlock new sections of the world by performing complex stunts!

Ever since Guitar Hero came out I've said it was blatantly misnamed since you couldn't make your enemy's heads explode with the power of rock.

ROFLMAO!! ... ...actually, I was thinking more like Valkyrie Profile. You could form different teams, and they all have special moves and combos already, so when it's time to get weird, they start doing their super moves. It would win and awesome.

I get the feeling you didn't quite get what I meant. Unless the MK and Soul Calibur adventure games are non-linear and not separated into stages, and let you roam around, looking for secrets everywhere in the game world, gradually finding new items and upgrades.

Real simple premise. They figured out a way to get zombies to hunger for other zombies. Once you get the ball rolling it would never end.
