Seattle Thread: don't like it? don't fucking read it, jerkoff.

Seriously, complain all you want, but here it is, another Seattle thread. The Fact o' the matter is that there's a lot of us, and we do things very often, so if you really don't like these Seattle threads, we can start making a new thread for every event, miniPAX style. Would you like that? Would you like having a million new threads about Seattle events? No, you wouldn't, so shut your fat mouth, before I smack you in it. You're just jealous because this awesome Seattle crew is like a vintage car, you can look but you won't ever drive it (We drink the same old wine from a brand new jar, we get hung over, but we always survive it).

Anyway, word on the street is that Daft Punk show was the suckiest suck that ever sucked. Sebastian? Kavinsky? Yeah, apparently they just weren't there. The Rapture played, then there was a fucking hour of nothing, where they had the house lights up and the curtain pulled and they played an an hour long Sebastian/Kavinsky remix an exact copy of which, has been available in mp3 form for a long time. I know a lot of people who were pretty pissed about that. Plus, Daft Punk fucking blows anyway and the only reason the show was even remotely worth paying for was because of the other bands that were going to be there. Plus, apparently there was a bunch of retards trying to "mosh" and throwing elbows and shit around the crowd, just being generally retarded. I almost went but boy am I glad I didn't. I have it from a reliable source that the Chromeo was one imperial shitload better, and it was a quarter of the price.

Also, on Thanatos' direction, Nap, my roommate Ian, and I headed to 64th and Roosevelt yesterday after Cap and Nap's Old-Timey Sunday Afternoon Long Island and Nacho Social to get ourselves some records. They had a bunch of stuff still for sale, which I sifted through, finding four pretty good records that were worth a few bucks. But then they had a ton of carboard boxes full of records they were literally just giving away. So I turned to the boys and said "Everybody grab a box!" It was pretty sweet.

I'm still aiming for a birthday party for me on August the 11th. Though I think the theme might change.
