Yes Warhawk is global. Also not mentioned in that link is the new Transporter aircraft Details are slim at best, but heres what I know:
- It can carry one vehicle (even tanks... probably!).
- Has a missile launcher.
- Can carry atleast 2 other passengers.
My Transporter wishlist:
- More robust to damage than a Warhawk.
- Slower than a Warhawk.
- Both passangers have missile launchers
I'm pretty sure it's going to be in the DLC pack they're releasing in december and since they haven't officially announced it, they haven't released any real details.

PSN is AddaUK (damn the person that took my nick!) if anyone fancies a game, no headset though so my communication is a strange combination of horn honking and jumping.
Heh, yeah dogfight tdm I tend to usualy be at least in the top five. As for your headset, a decent alternative is get an eye toy either with EOJ or just stand alone if you don't care for card games. The camera has a built in mic, and works preaty well too.

My hate for dogfight is just as I said. For some reason either I suck so utterly and completely, or the game just freaking hates me. And then it's worse that you can rarely even drive a few feet without getting locked on and spread across the sky. I have no hate for dogfighting and warhawks in general in regular CTF or Zones matches. It's the TDM dogfight only ones that just piss me off.
I'm completely stuck on a rank because I need Warhawk Recruiting. I have enough points and badges for the next 3 ranks, but this one I just can't get, mostly because I need bonus points with a warhawk... which means I have to kill a flag carrier or something with a warhawk.
The one thing that annoys me a lot is the same thing that turned me off from the original Battlefront too. There's nothing like seeing these big flying machines of death bouncing along the ground after some dude trying to run them down to just pull you out of the game. I remember in the first Battlefront just watching these idiots in Tie Fighters bouncing like a basketball across the landscape, it's just dumb as hell
Also, I'm curious. Is the head of the clan, the guy who actually invites people still playing the game/playing it regularly? I've just been reading this thread for a bit and haven't seen anything from him in a while. I'm wondering if it might not be a good idea to maybe start a second clan of the more currently active players since the old one seems to have died down a bit.

Today I absolutely suck at this game, it's like some mojo fairy snuck into my room last night and stole all my leet gaming skills.....

Edit: Yep, now I know 100% I have all those. I know I killed 3 people with one missile yesterday, so that's one troop kill. Today I just killed a guy in a jeep with my warhawk, and I've spent hours in it. I just need the bonus points.
Also, do you guys that are still playing just want to create a new clan, as I don't think we can get into the current PA clan?
double edit: Oh crud, I just realized it's a ribbon so I have to do all that in one game... durr.
I just got the Warhawk recruitment by using the guided missile that you fly around, dropped it in to an enemy base killing a turret and some troops then hid in my warhawk collecting invisble powerups until I hit the 4 minute mark.

I just got the same one but it was from the basic missle, I locked onto a warhawk and hit it as it was flying low over a base and took out someone on the ground with the explosion.

AFAIK, the only benefits to gaining rank at the moment are having more options when you customize your guy/Warhawk/Nemesis.

Ah I miss the days I was an Air Marshal, having many many different kinds of skins to choose from. Now I'm just a lowly 2nd Class Airman who can't seem to get the Warhawk Recruiting ribbon haha
Man great latenight early morning zones match with deadspace. Our team had 3 sleeping members on it and we still managed to win 2 rounds before ds logged. Let me tell you being out numbered 4 to 9 is no fun in a zones match.
Seriously it's alot of fun ... and it seems like the servers are always packed. There's something really neat about screaming across the landscape in one of those planes.
I love warhawk, but I get frustrated with crappy teammates. I really want to join a clan, but I need to find one that doesn't mind the fact that I basically only get to play on weekends. (and even then only at night) I guess what I really need is some more PSN friends, especially ones that play late night weekends.

I’ll tell you what happens in Demon’s Souls when you die. You come back as a ghost with your health capped at half. And when you keep on dying, the alignment of the world turns black and the enemies get harder. That’s right, when you fail in this game, it gets harder. Why? Because fuck you is why.

Yeah I see clanners do that alot. I just wait for The Badlands map to come out and then I take those flyboys to school Because the map is practically an aerial corridor, ya just hop on one of the missile/AA turrents in the outpost just to the north/south of the central area. Not uncommon for me to rack up 10+ kills before they take out the turrent (I've already skipped away by that time of course haha )

I just ordered it off TRU for 21 bucks out the door. I'll be playin with you guys in about a week.
Earlier today, Sony Computer Entertainment announced an expansion pack to Warhawk. Titled Operation: Omega Dawn, the new content will be available next month in the PlayStation Store. The pack will feature the vertically-oriented Omega Factory, a new industrial night-time map in which you'll be able to continue games of Team Deathmatch, Zone and CTF within what Sony touts as the biggest map to date for the game.
Besides a new map, O:OD will feature the KT-424 Combat Dropship, which can carry a vehicle and six soldiers at once. In addition, the five original layouts in the standalone game have been modified to accommodate the KT-424's vast size. Pricing and release date, however, have yet to be announced.

I searched for him and found him posting on the Team Fortress 2 thread, so I'm going to guess he's moved on from Warhawk. Here's the last post he made in this thread:
Attention: The invite error is still happening. It doesn't even list why it just says "error: invitation failed" over and over, but the player list is at like 15-20 or so I think. So I guess the thing to do would to be to add everyone to your friend list and have someone start another Wang Brigade to invite all those who can't fit in this one. I'm assuming this is what it is.. a full clan. It sucks that we cannot fit everyone in one large wang festival.
The player limit per clan is 64 so I'm guessing he encountered a bug. And since the Wang Brigade is dead in the water, I guess we may as well get a new clan going.
I suck at any kind of responsibility so putting the clan in my hands is a recipe for disaster. I'll be glad to lend my mediocre flying skills to the clan though :P
