The Invasion (
imdb,

Quasi-based on
Invasion of the Body Snatchers, we have Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig in something that is possibly a wreck. Only time will tell.

August 31:Halloween (

Rob Zombie remakes the slasher classic, though I'm not sure why this isn't coming out in October instead. It just seems like a no-brainer. I dread what he'll do with the theme song (which I love so dearly).

I skipped Japan and the Netherlands for this month because, really, who gives a fuck? Or, more truthfully, I got lazy. If anyone wants either of them reinstated, let me know and it will [eventually] be done. My ass is poor, so I'm looking forward to seeing none of the above. But if I weren't, I'd be looking forward to Bourne, perhaps Superbad, and the Donkey Kong documentary.
Okay droogs, what are you looking forward to?
Posts
Alvin and The Chipmunks looks god-awful. Seems appropriate the trailer features Alvin eating shit.
Going to see Fracture, Live Free or Die Hard, Black Sheep, The Bourne Ultimatum.
Chuck and Larry will probably be a rental.
Plus, the Erotica series looks sweet...for purely...artistic....reasons....

Meh, I'm a very mainstream kind of cinematic customer.
And yeah, I'm not going to go watch porn with a bunch of other people. :P
I'm sure i'll watch it with a good dose of horrified facination.
You could say that Patton Oswalt is in it, which would be the only reason I would go see the thing.
Also, Superbad.
I agree.
Also, I'll probably see Rush Hour 3, just because.. well, the trailer made me laugh too.
Perhaps Hot Rod and Balls of Fury, especially since my friends will likely be seeing these...
I like the music they have in the Bourne movies.
I am hoping superbad is good. the commercial is pretty good.
watch the r-rated trailer, search "red band superbad" on youtube. Hilarious.
I'll look for it tonight when I get home.
I don't want to get into what I don't like about the commercial. If it remains a problem in the movie I'm sure their will be discussion on here in which I can share my POV.
Just watched it. The fat guy is great, he was awesome in Grandma's Boy aswell.

he was also very good in Accepted, a movie I expected nothing from but ended up being one of the better comedies of last year imo.
I won't mind getting newsletter of the months movies.

I'll be fine, just give me a minute, a man's got a limit, I can't get a life if my heart's not in it.
XBL: QuazarX
I may see that.

Good to hear, I remember not being particularly impressed with the ending of Night Watch so it wouldn't exactly be a huge surprise.
Did they keep the subtitles in the same format as Night Watch? I rmemeber being really impressed by how they worked those into the film. Showed someone pays a lot of attention.
Okay, that sounds right. So they're in co-ordination in regards to the re-releases? That's neat. I wonder what group organizes that.
Ah, I was unaware that he was in it. Not that I think his involvement will make a major difference either way in the overall quality.
Thanks a lot . Part of the goal of these threads is to get people to see stuff they wouldn't normally by just seeing commercials or general word of mouth. I'm not sure how I'd do a newsletter. I suppose I could PM people whenever I make the thread for each month. Would anyone else who doesn't patronize D&D regularly be interested in such a PM notice?
I trust him on that.
What I can tell you from personal experience:
Black Sheep is indeed hilarious!
