This is the official thread for the Wii game Super Smash Bros. Brawl, debuting December 3, 2007. Sakurai is working with all his might, so please wait just a little longer! Here is where you can discuss possibilities for characters, stages, items, etc. that may be included. We will also be discussing Sakurai's blogposts, updated every weekday on smashbros.com
Please don't argue about casual play and tournament play. I think most people are tired of it. Go ahead and poke fun if you must.

So I'm running a contest that will run till the end of November (or if a clear winner emerges), and the champ gets a copy of SSBB from me, and maybe other stuff.
Rules:
Detailed guesses only. One-word and/or category-only guesses will be ignored.
Exact guess (example for last update would be "Wario's non-final smash moves") = 10 points
If no one is right, one point for each area the closest person's guess was right (using last example, "Wario's final smash moves" would garner 2 points: one for Wario and one for moves)
The more specific correct guess wins the points.
In the event of a tie (somehow) both people split points, to discourage duplicate guesses.
Edited posts = disqualification for that update

And by 2D critical hit I don't mean Ike's, just the general style of the 2D game compared to the blandness of the GC game's animations.
did you ever watch the critical animation in path of radiance? they were sweet.
