SSB: Brawl -- Come on, now! Where are you sticking that thing?
Man, you just can't take out Marth.
We'll have Marth, Ike, Hector and Ephraim.
Considering there were 5 Mario Characters (6 if you count DK) in Melee, that number sounds fair.
This stage looks really cool. In general my favorite stages are the boring ones with three platforms floating over a big one, and this one seems like that with an actually interesting gimmick that wont change the gameplay that much (unlike, say, Big Blue in Melee).
Have we seen someone shield, dodge or roll in any of the videos yet? I'm kind of afraid for it since on the sideways Wii controller setup, you'd have to hit A to do it, which pretty awkward to say the least.

I just watched both trailers again and there's a good amount of rolling in the second trailer, I think I spotted a couple dodges in the air too. I don't think they're get rid of any major gameplay mechanics like that though either way.

mario is also nintendo's biggest franchise ever, so i dont think you can really compare.
i'm hoping it's 2 FE characters. ike and axeman hector would get my vote easily.

A villain or rival per series is needed. Black Knight says hi.
whats a good fire emblem game to get to introduce oneself to the series. only have a GBA.
Well, in that case, your only options are Fire Emblem 7 (or 'Fire Emblem') and Fire Emblem 8 (or 'Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones'). The games are unrelated story-wise, if you are wondering.
Seven is somewhat more difficult (damn you, Battle Before Dawn! Damn you to heck, I say!!!), but the general opinion is that eight isn't as solid character-wise.
Personally, I still think 7 would make a better introduction, if only because the characters are better and the story's a bit neater. Even if it is more difficult.

Fire Emblem for the GBA...>_>...
I prefer Sacred Stones(mainly because of the extra classes and the optional dungeon...power leveling in the arena is a pain) but it plays better if you understand the basics presented in FE.

Well that's reassuring. Though how will you play with the Wii controller sideways? Don't you need to grab, block and do your two attacks? Will you have to shake the controller or something to do these things?

if Crono/Serge were to ever be in smash brothers, the world would end by fact of there never being anything better to ever happen again. Well, except sex, but shit man
I'm really hoping they make Ike in Brawl more balanced. In Melee the FE characters are totally broken. Want to win? Mash the C-stick left or right! It covers half the screen, and you can spam it if you miss. Seeing as they gave a fire emblem character an even BIGGER sword, plus the fact he looks a little more beefy than the boy toys in melee, maybe he will be slower. The game needs more slow moving power hitters that aren't that way just because they look fat. On that note, it would be great if they gave DK more of the speed and wild moves he had in Jungle Beat but it looks not to be. Oh well.

I think they'll probably something like that. Honestly I can't see either of the remote control methods being even nearly as good as the Gamecube and classic controller ones.

As much as I'd love to embrace a Wii control scheme, I just can't see myself playing with anything other than the GC controller. I played Melee way too much. At least the option is there, though.

Sothe in addition.
Or Elincia. With her pegasus, of course.

I'd say Sacred Stones, it's pretty easy, but still FE.

So we could have Disgaea characters all up ins.
I am imagining a Final Smash involving tons of Prinnies filling the screen and exploding.
Bomberman, Bomberman mass destruction everywhere

Right if this were to happen, I am pretty sure my head would explode, both of them.
I think he makes the most sense, along with Capcom throwing in their entry.
Mans of Bomber and Mega proportions. Do you even understand how much I might shit?

Here, you see words of value: werwkjgnhfhpqnnzkhsykjlrps.
If by "Bomberman", you mean "Sonic, Crono/Serge", then I completely agree.
crono!

I'll probably use the Classic Controller.

And finally, a stage to quell the "I'm sick of Battlefield/FD lookalikes" people. I hope we'll see a nice mix in the future.
To round off the week, I'm going to say... music.

We already have Sheik, though.
Clearly Sheik will be replaced with Tetra...
Without Young Link around to be the bomberman we need a replacement.
Funny, maybe it's just because I haven't played it yet(don't kill me), but I don't believe that Sheik is in the latest Zelda game...

Plus you'll get used to playing the game with it faster.
