Yeah, we tore up 3 bosses in SSC and did Gruul for the last 45 min of the raid last night. That leaves Mags and VR on our "to do list" in the next 3 days, and then hopefully topple Leo or Al'ar.
Basically we took some pretty undergeared but attentive people along and kicked ass.
My outlook is still somewhat dim, but that was the most fun I've had raiding in weeks.

A) This Prince kill was totally cheesed: our raid doesn't even have most of the drops off the other bosses, and we used the 'sit in the doorway' strat for him. Our MT went down twice, because he was just taking too much damage.
Was that Hurricane that got Tidewalker down? Mystery Machine's had him on farm for some time now, though they're just now getting to Karathress, and haven't bothered with Hydross, afaik.
Yes, Jim typically talks of the Hurricane.
Also, tall talk for someone who is a substitute and has the same standing to roll on loot as alts of some of the main players :P
A) I got in both times I was actually available because, basically, they don't have a single hunter interested in SSC it seems like.
I wasn't putting Jim down or anything -- I was mentioning how other raids are doing the bosses in different order.

Spirit was apparently supposed to be huge, because it's on just about every fucking piece of gear pre-BC [and pre-intelligent itemization 60 raids].
I've taken to collecting cloth with actual stat allocations that include agility and strength. Because someone sat there, at some point, and assigned that item agility and/or strength. Just for the satisfaction of knowing.
+Dmg on hunter T2.5, though, I will never forgive. Not even as a joke.
Spirit should've gained the properties Resilience holds, instead of spreading the item budget even thinner and screwing over the few of us who can actually use the currently half-assed stat, which is literally non-existant on a lot of gear where it should be present (arena, PvP). If they really wanted to make it useful though, they'd give everyone in-combat health regen of 50%, and all mana users an innate while-casting continuation of mana regen of 15%. Or make it increase haste, or lower CC duration, or reduce threat, or provide spell pushback resistance or reduce opponent's chance to mitigate melee, or just about damn near anything.

Word. This week has been sloppy but nowhere near as bad as last week. It's amazing what having one raid leader vs. the other does, just in people's attitudes. We did get Al'ar again last night, so now we just have Vashj and perhaps starting Solarian left for Friday. And I am not on loot cooldown, so people had better turn up, cos I needs a new dress real bad.
Gloves off attumen with sockets is better then T4 imo.
Then he'd better hurry the fuck up and drop them already.
edit: also, Nightbane at 20%, doing perfectly, and the tank crashes.

Well yeah, but the tier 4 makes tanking and dps gloves too.
The T4 tanking gloves are only for situations in which you need extra threat at the expense of mitigation. Which basicly makes them useful for VR and Leo.

It's definitely in consideration for the future, but for Wrath of the Lich King, we are focusing on Inscription as the next new profession. More on what woodworking could possibly hold would have to be all based on wishful thinking and conjecture.
