playstation 3 controller weirdness

Anyone else have the controller stop working for 5 - 10 seconds every 10 or so minutes? This doesn't seem to happen in all games, but it happens for me in Resistance and in Super Stardust pretty regularly, and has gotten me killed in both games a few times. My 360 and Wii controllers don't do anything like this, so I'm wondering if I've just got a busted controller?

    Mine will do it every once in a great a while. More during Resistance then any other game, but even then I wouldn't say it was every 10 minutes.

    Now that I think about it, I've put about 30 hours so far into FFXII on my PS3 and it hasn't done it once.

    Its a bluetooth known problem it happens with the Wii too but its less noticeable.
