    Since moving to Colorado, I have received my letter of ex-communication from the church of big red.

    It's funny, I lived in lincoln for over 20 years - but when I go home, I make sure to mud up my truck's license plates to hide the fact i'm a pilgrim in an unholy land.

    My dad went to Nebraska, so I grew up watching them all the time.

    I went to Missouri Southern State University.

    I have no school pride what so ever.

    It's much more fun to drink there, than it is to do the school work, apparently.

    nebraska and colorado aren't even natural rivals, it's just a product of conference alignment and is waaay to recent of a rivalry to consider 2nd best in college sports

    One of my school's biggest rival has refused to play us for too many years now, apparently Ole Miss is too busy with the SEC and refuses to play us when they don't have a conference game.

    I hate Ole Miss.

    Hate Mississippi State too, they're consistently awful yet somehow still get more funding than we do.

    there is absolutely no history in that rivalry, it started in the 80s and was only good for a short period when both teams were good

    compare that with unc-duke in basketball and auburn-alabama, oklahoma-texas, army-navy, michigan-osu, notre dame-usc, etc. etc. in football

    Oklahoma/Nebraska is our only REAL rival...and that got taken away in 1996 with the Big 12 alignment.

    auburn-alabama is the best rivalry in college football

    michigan-osu is good, but the intensity of the rivalry is exaggerated by an absurd amount of media coverage, due to the fact that both teams have been very good for most of the espn era
