It's not like it's hard to disable dual core, either - just go to the task manager, select painkiller.exe, click 'set affinity', and deselect one of the CPUs. You have to do it every time you start the program, unfortunately, but it takes like five seconds.
Besides, that was when I was little and was going through abuse of my own. The people you see on TV who do this shit rarely have that excuse. Those Animal Cop shows on Animal Planet really give you an idea of how cold people can be. They arrested one woman for throwing her dog's litter of puppies in the trash. IN THE TRASH!

luckily, my old cat was about to have her own litter so we managed to get her to raise them once hers were born
for a dumb and silly cat she made a real good mother
My dog (border collie) just gave birth to her 3rd litter of puppies.
There's 7 of them, and they're 3 weeks old. I'll post pics as soon as my camera is fixed.

It turns out that it doesn't work very well with dual-core PCs, so I have to disable one of my cores if I don't want to play it at hyperspeed.
