MP3 player screen replacement

Okay, I have a good one now but my brother broke his and found out that Best Buy won't replace or repair cracked screens. Mom is pissed because she was deceived.

I start this thread in search of the answer to this question,

Are there any mp3 players with warranties that will cover cracked or damaged screens?

Please keep the apple fanboyism to a minimum please, serious answers only.

    Honestly, I know of no warranties that will cover physical damage like a cracked screen.

    If he broke it.. like dropped it on concrete or stepped on it, its his fault and thats not covered. Especially with a place like Best Buy, they will do anything to get out of paying for a repair.

    Warranties cover manufacturing faults/defects.

    You'll be hard-pressed to find any retailer or manufacturer who considers someone dropping/breaking their product a defect.

    I think your mother (and millions of others from my experience) might be getting confused with extended warranties/insurance packages.
