seems to be some shit going down outside since theres been police choppers buzzing around the general area and lighting shit up with those super flash lights.
judging by the news of some young lass getting stabbed to death round the corner the other week, i expect to wake up toa nother story of someone being killed.
Man around here helicopters are a rare sight, it was the talk of the all the news services for several days when a new 24 news channel decided to buy one.
If any is sighted you have a pretty good chance that it is military or a sightseeing one, the police dont have any.
My cousin flies a police helicopter and will fly over my house or my brother's house or his own house to make it look like something happened
my uncle used to work on them too. he was one of the few people actually allowed to shoot a gun from a helicopter in flight in the uk. he worked in manchester so he was busy a fair bit
When I had just moved to where I lived now a man a few blocks over shot down the police helicopter with a shotgun
He was annoyed that it was flying so low

Where do you live in Newcastle? I also live there, it's pretty great.
in sunny heaton, right next to the stupidly rough byker and wallsend area, i used to live on the westend of toon before. never again. rough as hell it was there some guy got murdered outside of my house the day after i moved out.

I think we do alright up here though, less likely to get shot or stabbed than most other major cities in England.

I thought it was pretty much
1. Manchester
2. London
3. Newcastle

shot maybe, but there seems to be a rise in stabbings at the moment. to be fair id rather live in rather dangerous toon than, "youre pretty much gonna get killed" london

Nah Nottingham and Leicester are stupidly stab happy at the minute.
right next to it, my girlfriend lives in walker, i refuse to go anywhere near it at night, cos well i actually want to live. as its a case of walk back through walker and get stabbed or get bus to byker and get stabbed there before home. also my local metro stop chillingham road was the worst stop for violence and that ina recent metro survey
Do you know if it's true that the Cumberland Arms might have to close as a music venue because they're building flats nearby?
no that i know of, they said the same thing when they knocked up those flats next to the cluny and it didnt happen. i doubt it will cos the cumberland is pretty highly regarded for its support of tradtional music and that so cant see it happening.

How long did he go to jail for?
He is in court right now because of the huge backlog of cases the county has
He did this 2 years ago

My friend went to university at Newcastle, I went up to see him and we went to a party in Byker. The next morning we saw the guy from The Futureheads standing at the bus stop still slightly, let's say, not all together with it. It was great.

You either have a fat cat or are a very thin man

Insert a digimon joke here.
I'm too lazy to think one up right now.
Make sure you do it on your roof too, so the police can see you.

That would probably explain it.

If you have a rocket launcher you can use the stairs in back to get up there, then get 6 stars using the RPG.
Once you get the stars you need to sprint to the chopper, and use it to get to the nearest Pay 'N Spray.
Take the closest car you can (non police) and drive it in to get rid of the stars.
This helps you gain criminal ratings.
Watch out for tanks cuz if they touch you you'll explode.
compared to what it used to be it is. but its still not the best of areas to be at night alone.
