Seriously. Went and saw it this weekend, and there was only like forty people in the whole audience.

Go fucking watch this movie, jerks. It is good and awesome and has a good cast and is a great story, don't be dicks.

    I think I'm gonna try and get a ton of people from faire to go this weekend after rehearsal. I have heard some good things about it, and Neil's been talking it up on his blog for a while now.

    Seriously, I was a big fan of the book, and it was very faithful, for the most part, while retaining all of the original awesome.

    The only thing I didn't care for was DeNiro. His character was great, and was the only real major variation from the book, but it was all done in a good way. It was just poor casting - his heart wasn't in it and it showed.

    I dunno. I just wasn't feeling it. I was never convinced by him at all. His character was fantastic, but I just don't think he pulled it off. And strangely enough, he looked exactly like my dad in this movie.

    trillian had some free premier tickets to see it, and i saw it about 2 weeks before it came out
    and it was so fantastic
    and i am so glad i got to experience it with such a small audience

    Dude with the crazy deep voice. Kinda femmy, kinda butch. Also a professional drag queen, been in a bunch of movies. He played Karl (Homer's assistant) on the simpsons.

    I'll give ya the wink, but again I just felt like he was phoning it in. I didn't think he pulled off either role as scary pirate or drag queen at all.

    I thought Michelle Pfeifferrererrr did a great job.

    Also, I found it extremely funny that
    the only thing that can hurt Michelle Pfreffferferffrr is true love.

    I saw Stardust a few weeks ago.
    It was awesome.

    The jokes flying back and forth between theatre patrons were just as good as what was happening on the screen.

    I liked it a lot more than I thought I would, which was a pleasant surprise

    Everyone I went with (brother, brother's gf, gf's 12ish year old sister) enjoyed it a lot too

    I thought Robert DeNiro was great. Also, the
    voodoo fight with dead Septimus
    was awesome.
