Idea for Pre-PAX line

I just came up with Idea a little bit ago why'll I was watching The ball incident from last years PAX and I thought up that we all should start chanting ALL HAIL THE BALL about an hour or half hour before the PAX doors open.

I was driving some out-of-towner friends around, and I kept complaining about being blinded. They responded with "You see, where we come from, people tend to wear Sunglasses." I retorted with a simple "You people tend to have sun."

Oh silly you. There will be plenty of things going on in the line, and I'm sure someone would start that chant. Seriously, half the fun of PAX are things that just happen, in all likelihood you wont be bored during the line part of PAX, hell, its one of the best chances to make some friends.

Good sir, the thought does count, but you have nothing to worry about.

last year, at 16 hours of waiting in line, (i was number two in line) me and a few friends got a bunch of people to start singing bohemian rhapsody.

I wish I was there to see that...I would have so joined in...

Last year I got in line about two hours before doors opened and I had never seen so many dicks and bewbs on pictochat in my whole damned life. I am planning on getting in line this year about 6 hours before doors open.

Me and my brother were planning on leaving 6 houers early so hopefully we get a good spot in line. Last year I didn't have a DS so I was bored out of my mind all the way in the back of the line in the hot sun.

Board games might not be a bad idea, as long as you have a place to put them once you're let in. Y'know, for those of us who don't have DSes... *sniff*

well I don't think board games would work cause ;ast year the line was packed tight unless you were in the back.

What's the line policy for PAX? Can I step out of line to take a picture of everyone then get back in or is it "the end of the line for you pal!"?

Yes, everyone at PAX is MEAN. Not only will we make you go to the back of the line, but you will also have to sing "I'm a little teapot", including the actions, for the duration of the line.

I'm sure there are your normal basic guidelines for line waiting.
Don't hold spots for a herd of people.
I'm sure if there are only 2 of you in line, 1 person can go bring back lunch for both people.
I don't think leaving the line for a minute or two to take some pictures will be a problem as long as the people right next to you aren't dicks.

    etc.

What I did for pictures last year was when they moved us into line of 4 people then I held the camera up and took pictures. But my mistake was pointing it towards the sun so the pictures were really crappy

I hung out in lines by myself a couple times. Wanting to go to the bathroom or get a bottle of water was pretty easy. I'd just turn to the person ahead or behind me and say, "hey, I'd like to go grab a drink... will you let me back in line if I'm gone for a few minutes? I can pick you up a soda if you'd like..."

Worked every time. PAX folks are cool.

My idea for the Pre-PAX line is 8 player Daigasso! Band Brothers, but that might not be fun for everyone.

That might be a pain in the ass if you are trying to have a conversation with someone. What about in the last 10 minutes before it opens?

Yeah that might be a better idea casue getting beat up by angry PAX attendes might not be a good way to start PAX.

I will have some tunes going from my portable setup. I have some events planned actually with it. A small river city ransom sketch with some friends. I mean-- Seattle-- river city :P

But-- I will have some tunes pumping out for enjoyment. I will not be offended if people complain and want me to turn it down.
