I haven't played WoW since the spring, and I finally canceled my account about a month and a half ago.
Chances are good that I'll start up again before christmas. Failing that, when the next expansion comes out. Then being level 62 will be like being in the 40's again, playing will be full of of wonder. Maybe.
The opening of the dark portal was everyone on the server AOEing the handful of demons that came out of the portal so they could get their tabard and Kazzak Jr. teleporting around the world shadowbolting lowbies. It was lame as hell.
Not a surprise. It'd be a tremendous waste to pour much effort into a big event that concentrates on one area, as the server would be too busy collapsing on itself for anyone to enjoy it. The most successful collection of people in one area that I've ever seen was the Eranikus event that every server goes through whenever someone starts making progress on the AQ scepter. Only reason that was able to happen, though, was because only the horde has time to get there before it's already half over.

yeah, wrench. Outlands is the place to go for cash galore. even the grey shit sells for a lot.
you saved it as a gif. gifs have a maximum color depth of 256 colors. if you save it as a jpeg, it wouldn't come out grainy, and it would still be a relatively small file
You know what? I hate the 30s - fucking can't stand those levels; I feel they are the worst levels. Sad to see my new main toon is coming up on them now.
#8 :Sabotage your WoW future. Get on your character, destroy all of your items, and delete your character. Then go on the account management page, remove your credit card info, and change your password to a random string of text. Change all of your personal info, so it is impossible to retrieve your password. If you have your CD key that came with WoW when you purchased it, scratch it out, and throw it away, making it impossible to retrieve your account. If you feel that it is necessary, uninstall the game and snap the CD in half, too. Now, you officially can't play any longer, and if you ever somehow get back on your account, all of your in-game progress is deleted. This is the hardest of the steps to do, but is the most effective.
That is awesome, if I was a fed up parent I'd do this. The look on my kids face would be worth the 1 or 2 years they hated my guts.

Quitting WoW is that serious. After you put that much time into a character and learn the whole world, you honestly feel invested. It's an excellent business model to have in my opinion. Millions of players paying 15 bucks a month to play the same game over and over with random number generators creating potential improvements in equipment. You can only raid certain dungeons once a week and PvP updates once a week.
You know what? I hate the 30s - fucking can't stand those levels; I feel they are the worst levels. Sad to see my new main toon is coming up on them now.

Also trade-skills with 4 day cool-downs so it takes forever to make anything worthwhile and daily quests you do for rep and gold so you have a reason to log on every day.
Speaking of that I just reactivated my old account two weeks ago after being clean since march of last year.
It's just the same stupid thing again, and this time the regions don't even look good. Of course you couldn't explore the whole map because of lol invisible wall, but still...
And if I hear that goddamn Lurker song one more time...
If you are too hasty 50-58 are the worst levels imaginable.
Because you can get stuck at 56 with no more quests.
And the 30's are not hard it's just STV makes it SEEM like it is.
Eh, at 56 you can go into Silithus and grind to 60 pretty smoothly.

I should seriously look into selling my account. A 70 Hunter, 2 level 60 something characters, and like 4k gold on the hunter who has an epic ethereal dragon mount. Should get something for that.

I tried selling mine a while back. Gold selling sites give you absolute shit, not even close to what your character is worth, and ebay is out of the picture. If you can find a good venue for it, go for it, but it's hard lately.

No way in hell would I ever do that again ever unless it meant saving a couple of area's for gold when i hit 70.
I wanted to jab my eyes out by level 7 I hate the level grind so much.
Once you get dual wield, the Rogue class gets about 50 times more fun.
What race? Don't answer that, head to the Blood Elf/Draenei area things are better there.

after doing 1-70 on my BE paladin in roughly 3 weeks, I don't have the stomache for leveling anymore.
the rogue has become my "will level with rested xp only" char.
