First time PAX goer!

Hey all!

I'm sorry to start with something cliche (well not really.) but I'm a first time poster, long time reader, who is planning to be at PAX this year! I'm obviously totally amped for it, (Despite the fact that I'm still hunting down a place to stay *hunts thru the Place to Crash thread furiously.*) but this thread isn't about my crashing woes, oh no, I post here today asking you the reader how I can make the most of my stay!

I'm only going to be there for the Saturday (I wish I could come for longer.) and want to know what kind of crazy stuff I can get up to! I'm also totally up for any Mario Kart related challenges if anyone wants to throw down on the kart! I don't know much about the Expo other then that I want to go but if there are Halo matches I'd be up for getting headshotted multiple times in a friendly game too! (or Tekken, or Dead or Alive, or Soul Calibur, or really anything else!)

I should also note my friends and I will be working on a tight budget, any suggestions as to how to make the most out of my time without going completely broke? Thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing your awesometastic replies soon!

I'm on a tight budget too, and it's my first year, and my plan is to collect a lot of swag and see as much as I can when I'm not working. Check out the schedule on the PAX website and map out your activities beforehand, along with backup plans in case lines are too long for your comfort. Also, work on your art skillz for Pictochat. For more specific ideas, there are already a TON of posts here, so dig through the forum (especially the stickies) for stuff to keep yourself occupied with.

I would just like to say no matter what you do you will have a blast. You also horribly regret not being there for Friday/Sunday. That being said if you plan to leave the next morning sleep should not be a mandatory event.

Hah, I wish we could stay all three days, sadly we're all busy youngsters (ok with the exception of me.). In anycase the possibility of no sleep is out there, perhaps we shall party all night.
