Any Indie Gamers?

Heya,

I've got a question for the PA community... is any of you into indie/casual games (for the PC), or more the hardcore games. If the former, which games have you played and liked?

Here's why I'm asking. I run a small indie game website at http://www.midnightsynergy.com - we do puzzle/action/adventure games. Our latest, Wonderland Adventures, is a puzzle game woven into an adventure story with elements of Zelda, Paper Mario, and others.

I've been thinking about doing an advertising run on PA for a while now, but I'm not sure if this is the right audience for us at all - hence my question.

Thanks in advance,
Patrick

4 ) No site whoring, even "personal" sites.

    * Do not create topics to discuss your website - be it a game news site, or your goods for sale on eBay. Exceptions to this can be obtained by approaching one of our staff when necessary. They are rarely necessary as we have no interest in converting our user base into a marketing audience.

got that from the rules thread.

Although this is probably a site-whoring thread, I will still respond to you:

I think that your target demographic can be found here. There are lots of people who love Indie games and Zelda and Paper Mario are usually described with "all my dicks are cumming" so I guess they like those games too.

If I would advertise a game somwhere, it would be on this site.
Not in the forum though, cause that is against the rules. You COULD ask the admins/mods though, maybe they give you a green light.

Sorry - I honestly didn't mean to break the forum rules (which is why I stated what my specific question was, rather than saying "hey visit my cool site" - but point taken).

Klyka, thanks for the reply, although "If I would advertise a game somwhere, it would be on this site." is exactly what I'm trying to ascertain... I know the readership of PA is massive, but if only a small minority is into a specific game type, it just translates into an expensive ad campaign, not a successful one.

I didn't wanna come off as an ass, I didn't mean to if I did. Just for future reference reading the rules thread would be beneficial in my opinion.
