    This is fucking craziness.

    And even though I know that Lovecraft hated most of his own work (especially the Herbert West mini-serial), I would love to see an HBO series that did literal, serious, period-accurate adaptations of Lovecraft stories. Maybe one story per hour-long episode.

    Did he really hate his own stuff that much? Cause that would be strange considering he wrote so goddamn much of it.

    I'm not criticizing at all, I got into him earlier this year and he's the only sort of horror writer that actually succeeds in scaring me. Like, I lose sleep over some of this stuff. It's awesome.
