If you guys want to see fanboyism to the extreme check out http://www.sonydefenseforce.com/?p=83 apparently, according to the site, the animations are awful, and there is going to be a "Superior" PS3 version.

And you expect a site labelled "(name of company here) Defense Force" to NOT be full of gibbering fanboys?

It's even more funny the idiot loves Sony but has a 360 and bought the 360 version before it came out just to bash the game and only to want to buy it again for the PS3.

    Idiot ...

I just was skimming through VE3D and all the 9.#/10 for Bioshock, and the lone 5/10 kinda stuck out. Makes me sad how some people can be so Biased they can't even enjoy a good thing.

I see little evidence of the first fact, or the second :)

Now I do not fault the developers for this, they only had so much system power to work with so maybe this will all be addressed with the PS3 version when it comes out.

To conclude, let this game cook in the oven just a little bit longer and wait for the superior PS3 version. Cleaned up textures, animations, AI, extra weapons, Home space, standard HDD and Blu-ray will make this flawed game into a perfect gem.

So yeah, that pretty much says it all. This is a non-story. There's always going to be some idiot doing this. Really who cares about these short-sighted guys? You may as well argue over at the NMA forums.

The best satire is the type that gets taken seriously. At least I consider this satire, especially because no PS3 version has ever been announced and it has the goofy "Home space" toss-in at the end.
After many months of anticipation I finally got my copy of Bioshock and played through it over the past few days. There are many things to like about Bioshock such as the graphics (not animation), parts of the story and the water effects. That’s about where the good stuff ends.

First let me say how excited I was for the game after playing the demo on the 360. While the animation seemed stiff and you could tell the 360 was being pushed too hard it still looked like it had a lot of potential. So imagine my disappointment when I got the final version only to find none of the animation hitches, shooting glitches and AI was cleaned up. I also wonder how much better the graphics would’ve been had they not been compressed to fit on a DVD. Now I do not fault the developers for this, they only had so much system power to work with so maybe this will all be addressed with the PS3 version when it comes out.

    SDF Score: 5/10

People just get so touchy nowadays, and the Internet's so lit up about BioShock that it's an instant trigger.

It would be easy to dismiss this as satire if I hadn't been taught time and time again that, yes, people really can be that stupid, especially on the internet.

It's a (kind of bad) joke and we discussed it, however briefly, in the Bioshock thread already.

When you are a new user you can't get away with links that could be seen as sitewhoring.

Lurk more. Establish yourself as someone not out to take advantage of our userbase, and then maybe.
