With the summer coming to an end (for the northern hemisphere, anyway), I was thinking about how awesome autumn is: The leaves get pretty, the air gets cooler (I loathe super-hot weather, but I equally loathe super-cold weather... Cool is PERFECT!), football starts, baseball playoffs begin, Halloween, apple picking, pumpkins... It's just the best season to me!

I also like autumn for the reasons the OP listed except sports, I don't know anything about them.
Apple-picking is one of my favorite things, I love fuji apples so much
And my birthday is in November, which is my favorite month

And football PRE-SEASON has started, which barely counts.
I love snuggling under a pile of blankets. Doesn't work as well if it's hot outside.
I don't think I'd like to live somewhere where it's always cold, though, or always hot for that matter. I enjoy all four seasons.

I'm sure if a played football, I'd find much more benefit from pre-season games, but as purely a spectator, they mean absolutely nothing to me.

There really isn't anything I dislike more than raking leaves.
Other than that I don't have any real preference.

I usually like it for about a week and I do all the fun wintery stuff, and then after that I just complain until it's warm outside

But what does this have to do with me not wanting to watch pre-season games and wanting to watch actual games?
I mean, I played football in HS, and yeah, football season (back then) started in August. But now that I'm only a spectator, I couldn't care less that the teams are training for the season, I'm only interested in enjoying the games, which haven't started yet, HENCE I prefer fall because the real season gets going and I can enjoy watching.
