Question About Registering + BYOC

So I found out about PAX a little too late this year. I want to go, and will be attempting to register at the counter, but would also like to be in some of the BYOC events. I'm a top-teir Shadowrun player and would like to participate in the CoH and Soldat events. Hell, I might try to run around and install Tribes on everyone's computers in hopes they'll play it without realizing. Anyways, I was wondering if it's still possible to get a BYOC badge without the early registration. Thanks in advance.

you'll have to snag one off here if you want a sure bet into byoc, none for sale at the door as it is sold out. Maybe there might be extras from no shows. The shadowrun events will be in the pc freeplay area i believe.

So I don't need to bring the compy to play SR? Excellent. The Tribes thing might still happen though.

How do you figure out if you are top tier or not?

When my team played, we were #2 on GameBattles and really the only competition for the #1 team (we were like 1-4 against them). In fact, that's the only team we lost to after solidifying our roster. We were unable to compete in the first online tournament and the following MLG event because two of us were on PC and we could not obtain a sponsor by that time. We're hoping to go to MLG Orlando after honing our controller skills. Btw, here's a pub vid I made: www.team1080.com/movies/Pubbing.html

    BYOC Is sold out.

If there are a large number of noshows we will start selling seats on saturday sometime but I wouldnt haul your computer if I were you, might be worth trying for if you have a laptop or somesuch. Theres still a small tiny tiny chance though.

Even though it's taking place in the freeplay area, its an event reserved for BYOC people first. If for some reason we don't have enough BYOC participants, we'll take people out of the general pax pool.

Ahhhh that explains why it was in BYOC events, I was so confused why it was at first.
