I have no idea why people would want to take Percocet for recreation. That shit fucked me up. Darbocet was good, especially combined with the little pain-pump they gave me.
percoset and vicodin are pretty much great yeah
No joke, I couldn't sit upright without shaking, going into cold sweats, and puking.
I had to wait for the Perc to wear off before I could get up and walk around.
some people are allergic to it, i am.
but i didn't react to it the way you did, i just itched a little and i felt like a crack head constantly scratching my neck and forearms.
did you eat before you took it, this can be a major deal for some people
i can take them without eating but it is not recommended
As much as they really give you right after surgery.
Some crackers and shit, and ginger ale. Ice. Lots of ice because holy shit was I thirsty.
I think there was some lime Jell-O in there, because I was doing good. Then it was "Hey, time to get up to pee--Huagh!"

Those kids who take Ritalin to get high? Pussies need to take some of my meds.
72mg of Concerta. Not only will it hit you hard if you don't have ADHD, it lasts for 12 hours.
This is based on a friend's testimonial.
EDIT: t DL Yeah I was taking it after surgery, not just trying it for fun. Darbocet was OK. It's like Perc, but less powerful.
however as we've said before, you really need to go to a doctor instead of getting half-assed diagnoses from a bunch of nerds

Sounds like a hernia to me. I have one I've never had checked out. Periodically it just fucking hurts...I can pop it back in by pressing really hard and the pain goes away. I can feel it pop back in though...a little disconcerting.
I think I took 3 Vicodin when I got my wisdom teeth pulled because I was afraid I'd get addicted. I never did find out what happened to the rest of the bottle.
Ok, I had a solid respectable narcotic addiction for around 10 years. Started with Codiene, pretty soft shit, worked up to the majors, Vicodin, Percocet, Darvocet.. Then the All-stars, Oxycontin and Methadone.
I was a couple years in and popping Vicodin and Percocet like they were skittles. I was in a minor car accident, and had to fill out an ER admitting form and list all my medication. I do so and like 30 minutes later, 2 doctors come in with what I found out later was a social worker.
"Do you really take all these"
uhh... yeah
"At these doses?"
yes... what's the deal?
"Well... if you really are taking this much either you're a very coherent zombie, or a liar."
excuse me?
"You can't possibly take this much... I bet you don't even know what these are!"
At this point I open my backpack and take all 8 pill bottles and line them up, telling him the doses and the prescribing doctor without looking at the label.
Last year, I said enough was enough. I was paying $500 a month, after insurance, just for painkillers. The thing was, they weren't touching the pain. You can't kill neuro-pain with pills. Just doesn't work. SO I was paying $500 a month for an addiction.
I decided that if I really wanted to quit, I should just do it, and get it done with. So on day 1 I cut everything but half of the Oxy, and continued this for 3 days. Then I cut everything. I did a total trainspotting type preperation. Set myself up in the bedroom, buckets ready, bathroom in ready-reach. Before I got really bad, I had Summer take every bottle and get them out of the house. Told her no matter what I said, she was not to bring them back.
What followed was 2 weeks of the most horrific shit ever. I'd go from crying to screaming, to puking, to shaking, to crying, to shitting myself, to puking..... It was ungodly. But I knew if I could do this, then that meant I didn't need the pills, and I could get by without them. The pain was intensified, it felt like every inch of my body was being attacked by millions of biting insects. My skin was vibrating right off my body, and it was on fire.
It was fucking horrific. But I came out the otherside, and haven't had a pill since.
Why do people brag about how they dislocated their whatever or broke their who cares but no one ever wants to talk about their hernias?
I was lifting 250 pounds on my shoulders, lifting with my calfs, all of a sudden my work-out partner decided to sit on the weights, he weighed 250 himself. I just thought fuck it to myself and did a few times. After that work-out was done, I bent down to pick-up a 45 pound weight, and I felt a slight rip in my lower abdomen
i pretended i was indiana jones when i was five and tried to scale a deck by tying a plastic skipping rope to the top
the rope did not hold and i broke my arm
i dont remember much of it, apparently we rented and watched the jungle book but i had no idea until the next day when i saw jungle book in the car and was like "awesome jungle book can we watch it" my brother then told me we did last night

what neuro-pain are you talking about that pills can't fix
Chronic Neuropathy.
In 99% of people, they develop neuropathy, and it's like a pins and needles thing for a few weeks, then the nerves die off and thats that, no more pain, no more anything.
In my case, my nerve tissue hasn't died off. The "static" on the nerve line has remained constant for over 5 years. If you take a lighter, and hold it under your arm, about 8 inches, and let it sit for 30 secs.... thats what every bit of my body feels like below the waist, 24/7. It doesn't get better, it never stops. A constant burn. I was fortunate enough that it built over time and I've grown to be able function with it.
It's a relatively rare condition that usually takes multiple EMG's to diagnose and prove, since neuroathy is almost always a relatively temporary problem, and almost NEVER as severe as mine.

he studies these for a couple moments, the social worker laughs and walks out.
"You know... I can't believe your liver even works anymore...."
I guess that's NSFW.

He speaks for all of them. So we must listen.
PS: Drunk people across the way, shut the fuck up. I am old and feeble.
i thought i should probably have it checked even though it's gotten better
I was taking:
200mg+ of Oxycontin
80mg+ Oxycodone quick release
1200mg+ Neurontin
600mg+ Trileptil
100mg+ Vicodin compound
per day
I decided that if I really wanted to quit, I should just do it, and get it done with. So on day 1 I cut everything but half of the Oxy, and continued this for 3 days. Then I cut everything. they can at least wait until thursday
I'm going to shoot open their lock with a captured bolt pistol and then waste them all with a silenced pistol before they know what happened.

I will have to wave my cane at them menacingly.
Usually it happens if I've been sitting down for the past few hours
Otherwise it just pops like any other joint
I always wondered how a broken bone felt like
that's like my most serious injury and i don't even remember it
probably because i hit my head doing it
the rope did not hold and i broke my arm
