I'm still debating if I should join, just to have someone to talk to. However, I only have 10 days left on the trial, and I'm 90% certain this character won't be re-activated.
I really just don't want to annoy or piss off anyone, especially considering that I won't ber around long.

it's ok, if you start feeling blue or you just need someone to give you a peptalk just convo 'sonelon' in game, he'll get you back on your feet in no time (-:

VolatileSky is FINALLY done with propjamming I! I might ease her on down to 0.0 and do the t1 frigate tackle thing. I still can't believe that RISE put up almost nothing of a fight and counted our noob suicide op as a full-on invasion. DI did the same, hopefully EO atleast gives some comedy before they roll over.
Rise space also kinda sucks for ratting as I found out during the campaign.
CCP gave in, allowed a manual warp to 0 and removed all the bookmarks within a certain range of the gate (20km?).
Any bm within 50km of a celestial object if I remember right. God it was such a frantic thing to copy thousands of bookmarks the night before they limited it to 5 at a time.
Today I lost 17m to EVE poker. But on the plus side, ratting Sanshas in decent true-sec is glorious in every way.

Okay, so here's the thing. You guys may or may not remember me - I did the 14-day trial, oh, six or seven weeks ago. I didn't subscribe, but I said I'd be back after exams. Well, it's about that time now, but unfortunately WoW sucked me back in with the 2.3 changes. Really messed with my plans, that. I'm not playing now, but I will when the patch hits sometime before the end of the year. That will probably keep me occupied until the expansion hits, and that will probably keep me occupied for a while as well.
I want to play EvE, but I've got limited time and damned if I end up duel-wielding mmos. So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to get another trial going, roll a character and join you guys if that's possible. Then at the end of the trial, I will delete my character and donate all my assets to the corp. I'll probably be back again after Wrath of the Lich King loses its shine.
And Snake: one of the great things about EVE is that you can train skills while away from the game. The big thing we need to do is find you a way to make ~170 million or so every month or two so you can use a timecard to re-up your subscription to change skills if you don't want to actively play. Once your WoW addiction burns out you'll have months of SP built up.
Now I honestly think you should leave WoW to rot as EVE is a more rewarding experience than WoW can ever hope to be, but that opinion IS a bit biased. Still, start a new character or re-up your old one for just a month or something and start training some long-term skills so you can come back to incredible goodies.
Besides which, WoW's 2.3 patch won't be out for at least a month anyway.
And you don't have to resub immediately. The changes aren't temporary so staying in EVE another month (or more), won't make much difference because god knows when blizz will actually release the next expansion.
Win win for all (except WoW, but who cares about that, right? ;-))

I am now very, VERY scared.
Also we just got Marcus to commit e-suicide to join us. Merch Industrial: innocent corporation or murderous internet cult? You decide.
Funny part is I left my two ships back in Empire space. So I can, in theory, kill myself multiple times and go back and forth.
Also, my first PvP experience was filled with noobish mistakes. I'll be better next time, but it was actually kinda exhilarating.
