i got to my gate at Seatac and gave them my slip for a boarding pass and the dude was like "oh this flight is overbooked. are you staying in houston?" and i said "no, i'm connecting to philadelphia" and he said "well we have a flight to philadelphia at around 8 AM and you arrive there at around 1PM" and i was like "uhhhh" (meaning "no fucking way dude") and he said "well we'll see if anyone else is willing to give up their spots for other passengers"

so i ended up flying first class. it was bad. i drank orange juice out of a champagne glass (not really, i just slept)
