What've I missed?

I've been gone on a two-and-a-half month excursion into the wilds of Colorado's San Luis Valley. Since then, I haven't been exposed to any news or updates concerning technology in general.

I own a PC and a Wii, and I'm wondering what exactly I've missed these past few months that I need to get and what exactly I've missed that I can keep missing.

I trust your judgment, fellow PA'ers.

    World in Conflict hits next month and the demo is out now. Expansions for Supreme Commander and Company of Heroes coming this fall. Good time to be a RTS fan.

    Metroid Prime 3 hits in a few days. Early impressions are extremely positive, and many are lauding the control scheme as the best FPS controls on a console to date. Apparently it's visually quite nice-looking as well.

    Super Metroid was also added to the Wii's VC ... so now you just need a Wii ... :P

    Are Super Mario Strikers or Madden '08 any good on the Wii?

    Wait, when did RE:4 Wii come out? Cause that shit was white-hot and got creamed all over, although it was familiar looking. My favorite Wii game so far maybe.

    There is some good stuff on the VC.

    Did you miss E3? uhhhhhh... Wii Fit?

    Well, two and a half months ago was early June, so he could have missed RE4Wii. If you have the money and don't mind playing through RE4 again, it is quite good. Probably the best shooting controls on the Wii so far.

    I've heard Mario Strikers is good, haven't played it myself.

    E3 wasn't so hot in terms of big announcements this year. The only notable Wii info is Mario Galaxy Nov 13, Smash Bros Dec 3, and Mario Kart sometime early next year.

    Strikers is good. Very arcadey, barely like soccer, but lots of fun. Online multiplayer has the Nintendo Seal of Clunky Online Play but it works and it fun as well.
